BATMAN!!! : Chapter 18

 *Kate's POV*

    I sat on the couch flipping through random channels on the flatscreen. Dick sat down next to me carrying a bowl of chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

"Want some?", he asked with a mouth full of ice cream.

"No thanks.", I chuckle.

"I got it from Jason, he just went grocery shopping. That reminds me, I should go give him a hug!", Dick smiles.

"Speaking of hugs, who's your favorite hugger?" I asked nosily.

"Well, I like Bruce hugs, Tim hugs, Jason hugs, Alfred hugs, Kate hugs, -", Dick started.

"We get it, you like hugs! Will you answer the question?", I laugh.

"Well... my current favorite are Shae hugs, but before i met Shae, they were Dami hugs! Even though he never hugged back... ", he smirked.

"Tell me about it!", I say sarcastically.

"Did somebody say my name?", Shae called from the top of the stairs.

"YES!", I yelled.

    Shae leaped down the stairs and stopped at the couch. Dick held his arms out for her, and she walked into them, sitting down on his lap. I watched as they embraced each other, with huge smiles on their faces.

"YES! SICK! I SHIP IT!", I fangirled.

"Sick?", Dick questioned, not releasing Shae from the hug.

"Yea! Shae and Dick equals Sick!", I laughed at their ship name.

    Dick's face turned red, and so did Shae's. Just then Damian bounced down the stairs holding a black piece of fabric.

"GOOD NEWS KATE!", he shouted. Wow... emotion. Don't see that very often.

"What is it?", I asked intrigued.

"Your suit is done!", He said holding the black and dark purple suit.

"Yay!" I squealed again.

I jumped off the couch and ra up to damian. I scanned the suit, and I liked how it looked. I felt the fabric, and it was actually REALLY soft!

"Can I try it on??" I questioned intently.

"It's your suit!" Damian stated the obvious.

    I grabbed the suit and ran to the nearest bathroom. I was way too excited about this! Next thing you know I'm whipping this off, squeezing this on. And finally It was all on. I quickly ran up to my room unseen, to plan how I would do my hair. I did my now longer hair in two french braids. I looked myself over in the mirror in awe. This looked amazing!

    The top was a leathery black, with a purple X across my torso. My bottoms were the same black material. I had almost knee high black boots with purple laces. I had a very dark purple utility belt. I also had a black domino mask to cover my eyes, and to top it all off, I had a long black flowing cape. It had a hood on it, as well as something resembling a purple gem to hold it all together.

    I quickly ran down the stairs to present myself to the others. Once i was i front of them I held out my arms, and a huge smile came to my face.

"HOT!" Shae yelled, making me put my arms down and giggle a little.

"Very nice!" Dick clapped.

I looked over at Damian, and he just gave me an approving nod, and had a little smirk on his face.

"Thanks Damian!" I blurted out.

Before he could respond I dashed out of the room, trying to find Alfred. I was dashing from room to room, high and low, to just find out that he was in the kitchen all along.

"Alfred!" I yelled squeezing him in a hug. "Thank you!Thank you! Thank you!" I said multiple times.

"You're very welcome Mistress Kate." Alfred spoke, with a smile on his face.

"I can't wait to go test it out!" I jumped up.

I started running around the manor, holding my cape up saying: "Duna Duna Duna Dunnnnnnnaaaaa BATMAN!"

    I just got a bunch of confused looks from people around the manor, I just kept running around until I saw another figure appear next to me. Tim. We kept running side by side screaming. Until Damian stopped Tim, by jumping on his back, bringing him down to the ground.

"But Dami!!!! I was having fun!" Tim whined.

"No fun only justice!" Dick said behind them in a raspy voice.

    Just then Bruce walked in, gave us all weird looks, then slowly backed out.

"Great! You just offended Batman!" I yelled, and then started laughing.

Soon everyone except Damian joined in.
