Nothing to Stop

(Chris's P.O.V)

I don't know what came over me but I did something I never thought I would do. Push Demi. She struggled to get away but I ended up slapping her. She held her face as I slowly backed away. I didn't mean to do it...she, she just...I don't know.

"I-I-I'm really sorry...I didn't mean to." I said with sympathy. She smirked then spoke.

"Oh you will be when I get the cops on your ass." She said getting up until I grabbed her arm.

"NO, please..don't." I said begging. She let go of her face and sighed of annoyance then said.

"Okay, I won't tell the police but you have to do something for me..." She said again smirking.

"Okay, okay whatever just tell me..." I said.

"You have to be MY boyfriend...for however long I tell you to be." She said putting a hand on her hip.

"What!?" I said surprised at her options.

"Either that..or you go to the cops..." She said holding her cellphone in her handing.

I had to really think on this one. I mean I can easily say no but the cops will surely see my hand print on her face and then I'll get caught...but if I agree then I'm bound to lose Ari...but I had to weigh my options and carefully.

"Okay I'll do it...but after this whole bet is over with I'm done associating with you." I said making sure she got the point.

"Okay, we'll just see about that."

(Ariana's P.O.V)

I sat in my room on my bed thinking about what I saw today. Chris and Demi a couple? There's no way, I mean unless Chris lied to me but he would never do that...well I did hear what he had to say over that recording but I didn't think he would be this mean about it. I wiped the tear that carefully slid down my cheek. I was tricked into thinking he liked me and I was played by my best friend. Katy I guess didn't know about what Demi was up to cause she doesn't talk to her anymore. She'll only wave at me but she mostly just keeps to herself and doesn't bother anyone.

I wish I never did the stupid ass bet in the first place. It was dumb of me to even start shit with Demi, but I thought she was my friend. But I guess you never know who your real friends are.

(Demi's P.O.V)

Perfect, perfect, perfect. That's exactly what my plan was PERFECT. I have Chris all to myself. And that's all that rally matters...oh and I screwed up Ari's life. But to be honest with you I personally never really liked Ari I only pretended to be friends with her cause Chris liked Ari and the closer he was to Ari the closer he was to me or vice versa. Either way things turned out for the better. Well at least for me it did. Ari's dad and I still have to get things settled to make the perfect chance to really get back at Ari. Now don't get me wrong what I'm doing is beyond evil but it's for her own good and I can't have people messing up my life and what I want.

"Chris, how come you don't hug me or cuddle with me at home." I asked him trying to sit on his lap but he would just move down further on the couch.

"You said we have to date...but we both know it's just for show and tell and to make Ari mad, so whatever I do outside of this house is just an act." He said making me mad.

"Why don't you want me." I asked.

"Well, personally when I first met you I thought you were a cool ass down chick but you really showed your true colors." He said getting up but I then realized that what he said was right maybe if I wasn't so caught up in getting him he actually already could have been mine.

Before he could open the door to leave I asked him a question.

"Wait." I said getting up from the couch and walking towards him.

"What." He said angry and ready to leave.

"I-if I wasn't like...so I don't know MEAN...maybe, would you have wanted to go out with me." I asked as calm as I could.

"Maybe..." He said opening the door then walking out.

I walked to the couch with my head hanging low. I sat down and pulled my knees up to my chest. I ruined a perfectly good friendship over Chris...and I was jealous of her all this time when if I actually played me cards out right, he could have been mine. WOW I'm stupid. I can't take back what I did but I can stop what's gonna happen.

So I got up from the couch and grab my cellphone from the little table my the lamp and picked it up and dialed Ari's dad's number.

"Hello?" He said.

"Um, H-hi it's me." I said nervously.

"Ah.just the person I wanted to hear from, are you making a schedule change for me..." He said but I could tell he was smirking while talking.

"Um, no not exactly...I sorta want to call off the whole thing." I said honestly.

"WHAT!" He said angry.

"I mean it's not worth hurting your daughter is it." I said trying to make him agree.

"You made the deal and you can't cancel now." He said angry and almost murderous like.

"I know, but I can get out of it." I said beating him to his own game. He chuckled very darkly then said.

"I guess if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.." He said and with that the phone disconnected.

Now I guess I have no other choice but to warn Ari..but I hope she believes me.....he's really serious this time and I don't think there's anything I could do to stop him.

I finally got to update this story YAY!! but anyways comment what you think Demi got Ari into and what should Chris do..should he come right out and tell Ari or should he still play just to be safe.
