Close your eyes, think of happiness and when you're the best version of yourself.

What I see is pride, strength and hardiness. I want to see myself built up as someone with brawn mentally and physically. That's who I claim to be, but those seven gave me a better description of the person i was.

Move the meeting with H Mart to tomorrow at eleven for brunch, get catering on that, move my flight to South Korea to two days from now, and can you get me a meeting with the head of YG Entertainment by the end of the week?" I sighed into the phone. My secretary ended the call with a quick 'yes, ma'am'.

I checked my watch, 4:30 pm, with a sigh I get up and straightened my navy blue blazer.

I am the Chairman of Front Banking, a multibillion dollar banking company settled in the western US and South Korea. Being a mere eighteen year old girl, running a company made stocks and shareholders surprisingly increase.

The tabloids practically ate up the scandal of the parents of an only child and the owners of a huge company die at the hands of a drunk driver nine months ago. Leaving the seventeen year old child with the reins of Front Banking.

I headed out of the building that's taking up most of the storefront block in southern California.

At five thirty until six thirty I have a dinner with my president and vice president discussing upcoming trip to South Korea. Though none of us being a shred Korean, my family treated Korea like it was our second home.

Then after I would be having my kickboxing partner meet up with me for a final session before I leave.

Heading into the car in front of the building, my driver respectfully waited by the open door. I smiled at the middle-aged man I've known but all my life.

"Good evening, Ms. Front," He nodded at me before closing the door. He walked around to the side to get into the car, before starting it i spoke up.

"Manny, everytime without fail you refuse to call me by the name i heeded you by."

"My apologies," he smiled, starting the car.

"Please call me Jade, Manny," i chuckled.

"Will do, Ms. Front." he looked back at me through the mirror.

I sighed in defeat and laughed, "How are your kids, Manny?"

"Enjoying their summer vacation at the moment, Ms."

"It's summer already? Ok, the next three weeks you'll get a paid vacation off, spend some time with your family." i smiled at him.

"Oh, Ms! You're too kind." he hurried to respond.

"Manny, these past few months I have seen everything more clearly and I understand things I wish I could have known before. Family is something to never be overlooked, regrettably I should have realized that sooner. Go home after this, maybe you could even make it home for supper." The car slowed as we reached my home. One of my house attendants, Francis, opened the door for me as the car stopped in front of my front door. "See you soon, Manny. Tell Debra I said hello."

I took Francis's hand as he helped me out of the low riding car. As i walked up the small steps to the door Manny called out behind me.

"Your parents would be proud, Jade." he said after i turned. I smiled and waved as he drove off to his home.

My flight to Seoul was the first one without my parents, it felt awkward sitting in my family's private jet with only the president, the vice president and my secretary. There were two large gaps that need to be filled but no one could ever do that.
