Jungkook looked at the surroundings outside through the window. He had nothing to do right now and looking outside of the window seems to relax him and stuff. He sighed as he rests his chin on the palm of his hand.

"Jungkook?"

The boy looked over to the person who called him—his mother, "Yes mom?"

"We'll be visiting your grandfather at Korea next week. So you should probably pack your stuff." Korea... Next week? Next week already?

"Oh... okay. Are we going to spend the whole summer there..?"

This time, his father answers the question, "Yes, we will. It's going to be fun though. The hospital is located at a very calm place, away from the city."

Jungkook just slowly nods and continues looking out the window as his parents talk more about the place they're going to, the going-to-korea-next-week thing hasn't really sunk into his mind yet.

JeonKookieCena: they said that the hospital was located in a calm and beautiful place filled with plants and you can see a few mountains and you can clearly see the beautiful view of the sky with fluffy clouds.

"I'll pack tomorrow." Jungkook decides as he places his phone on the bedside table and he flops down on the bed.

Jeon Jungkook, 14 years old, and lives in Canada. He studies in an International school and in that school, he met Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin, his friends. Yes, he only has two friends but he's satisfied with them.

He was born in Korea—but his mom had to work in Canada for a few years and when his mom got a little rich, she took Jungkook and his dad with her and they lived in Canada for a while.

His mom talks about his Grandpa sometimes. Based on the stories he's heard about him, he's an alcoholic and alcohol seems to be like his drug or something, and so, he was sent to the hospital one month ago.

I guess mom misses her dad.

Jungkook doesn't really mind spending Summer vacation at such a pretty place. Honestly, a new place also meant new aesthetic pictures to be taken, and Jungkook loves taking pictures. A lot.

"I wonder what the city at Korea looks like..." Jungkook thought as he pulled up the covers and slowly drifted off to sleep, forgetting the other things he thought about.

It was another refreshing morning as usual. As soon as Jungkook woke up, he sat up and stretched his arms, letting out a groan. He rubs his eyes and yawned as he got out of bed.

Jungkook walks over to the window covered with the white milky curtain and softly grips on the material before the pulls the curtains apart. The binding sunshine meets Jungkook's eyes causing, him to squint. (Okay, pulling the curtains apart may have been a mistake, but he'll have to deal with it.)

"Today looks like a good day."

The boy runs down the stairs as he smells the scent of good food at the kitchen. He dashed into the kitchen and took a look at what Mr. Jeon was cooking.

"Food, food, food!", Jungkook smiles at the sight of bacon, Mr. Jeon just laughs at his reaction and told him to wait for a few minutes. He sprinted to the dining table and waited there for dear food patiently.

Mrs. Jeon walks in and sits on another vacant seat.

She looks at Jungkook and smiles, "So, have you packed anything yet hun?"

Jungkook gulped and turned to his mom with a grin as he laughs nervously, "Uh... haha no not really. I will, later though!"

"Sure whatever sweetie", Mrs. Jeon smiles at her son and Jungkook smiles back.

After doing the usual morning routine, Jungkook entered his room with another sigh. He closed his eyes and thought in silence, then after a few minutes he opened them again and takes a deep breath.

"Alright, packing time."
