Travis's POV
I have had enough! I tried and tried to win Katelyn over, but nothing was working. I had even stopped looking at her butt and even THAT didn't work. I have finally given up.

~~~~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~~~
"Get away from me perv!" Katelyn yelled as she swung at Travis. He'd gotten used to her normal attacks so he dodged easily. "You know what?" Travis said frustrated, "I'm done. I've tried everything to get you to show any shred of even enjoying my company, but I guess I'm just too unbearable to be within a 10 foot radius of you." Travis then ran off leaving Katelyn dazed and confused. She thought it was their thing to throw punches at each other.
~~~~~~~~~~~Present~~~~~~~~~~

3rd person
Travis was sobbing into a pillow for a couple hours when he heard a knock at his door. "I'm coming." He said. He opened the door and saw Lucinda standing there, a worried look upon her face. "Travis," she started, "are you ok?" "W-What do you mean I'm perfectly fine." He said trying to hide the fact that he was crying like hell on the inside. Lucinda read him like an open book and rushed forward and captured him in a warm embrace. He was shocked at first but he slowly eased into the hug. "Come on let me cook you something." Lucinda said inviting herself into Travis's house. She began to cook some chicken and waffles. Travis was astonished she knew what that was and was drawn into the kitchen by it's fragrance. She turned towards him and handed him a plate. "Eat up Travis this is all for you." Travis was extremely grateful and showed this by devouring everything that was on the plate. "Thank you. That was amazing." Lucinda got on the couch and proceeded to crawl towards him. "Time for desert." She purred in his ear. She then eased her lips onto Travis's. He was taken back by this sudden action but after a while he kissed back. She ran her hands through his hair as the kiss became more passionate. Travis thought to himself
