I chased after the blonde haired beauty only to see she had already left. I bent down and picked up what seemed to be a glass shoe.

I must find out who she is. I must say it felt like love at first sight. Most people wouldn't believe in it yet I do. I sat down on the steps and started examining the glass shoe. What am I going to do with you now?

After thinking long and hard I got an idea. What if I go around and let all the women try on the shoe. The girl who's foot fits the shoe I shall take as my queen.

There was a knock at the door and I rushed over to get it. I opened the door and there revealed Princess Riley. My eyes widened at her presence and I could barely speak. "W-Wha-wha-what are you doing here m-miss?"

"No need to get nervous around me peaches I've come here to find the girl I danced with last night at the ball."

Peaches.

My eyes fell down upon the glass shoe she held in her hands. Oh my god do I really have the opportunity to get out of this hell hole?

I was about to ask to try it on to reveal it was me but my mother came down stairs. "Maya who's at the do- Princess Riley!" She shouted dropping a plate on the floor and rushing over to the door. "Maya,dear, please clean that up?"

"Mama can I not right now this is important!" I begged. She rolled her eyes and snapped at me. "Like these people would want anything to do with you! Your just a maid who can't even clean you properly. Your so useless, who would ever want you in their life? Now get out of my face and do what you were told!" My eyes filled with tears and just as I was about to run off Princess Riley held me back.

"Your not useless Maya everyone serves a purpose in this world. I'm sure someone would love you your a beautiful and charming girl even though I just met you." I grinned and wiped the tears from my eyes. "Maybe you've known me just a little longer than you think."

I kicked off my right shoe and Riley slid the glass shoe on my feet. "It fits like a glove." She said while looking up at me. My mother gasped in shock. "Bu-but she didn't even go  to the ball last night." I grinned and replied, "I sneaked out now excuse me I must be with my princess."

Riley smiled and held me hand while pointing the the white carriage. "Oh and Mom you really should clean up this place...oh wait the only dirt in here is you."

So with that fire diss Maya left with Riley and later they got married. I guess you can say they lived happily ever after.
