Everywhere

You're everywhere, aren't you?
Including the early morning dew,
In the wind caressing thin yellow curtains,
In presents wrapped with silly red ribbons.

You're in the trees that reign way up high,
In quiet moments when I'm about to cry,
In the whirring sound of the electric fan,
In the zigs and zags of my own two hands.

You're in the airplanes that soar overhead,
In all the books that I have read,
You're in the dessert laid out on the table,
In all the fairytales and well-known fables.

You're in the favorite songs,
I could listen to all night long,
In the full moon and all its glory,
In the sweet and sour taste of sorry.

You're in the concrete bridges cutting across the view,
The white cottoncandy drifting through the blue,
But in truth I am aware,
You're everywhere because I put you there.
