{Alright, this one-shot is dedicated to @clioheart! This one shot is about their requested OC.
This one-shot takes place in season 1 of Minecraft Diaries.}

{Lila Knight. Aqua hair that fades into white with neon pink and purple under. Blue eyes. Clothes: grey muscle tee crop top, black jean shorts, black combat boots, earings, nose piercing, bracelets. Funny, smart/clever, brave, witty, kind, strong, tough. Friends: Katlyen and Nicole. Enemies: Aaron.}

{Lila's P.O.V}
I jumped from tree to tree making sure not to lose my footing. The sun was beginning to set behind me, and my growing shadow was going to give me away. The barking and growling of tracker dogs loomed dangerously close.

I need nightfall to hide my position and the stars to guide me to Phoenix Drop. Traveling on solid ground is impossible with these dogs trailing behind me. Not to mention the O'khasis guards following just beside the mutts.

Ever since I was finally able to escape from his grasp, Zane has been hunting me down non stop. I've managed to hide for a month now by jumping from village to village. My favorite place, Phoenix Drop. At least, ever since I met him. Dante.

He's the only reason I keep returning to the small village. Well, besides Katelyn, she's cool. Call me selfish for continually putting the town in danger with my presence, but I can't help it. I love him, and he loves me.

I stop running through the trees to catch my breath. I push my back against the trunk and quiet my breathing. I hear the two guards talking below me, and the panting of the tracker dogs. I pray that they're stupid and don't look up.

"We lost her. Zane will have our heads for sure."

"I won't tell if you don't."

The first guard considers the option and then shakes his head in agreement. They make they're way back towards the direction we came from, pulling the dogs along with them. I breathe a sigh of relief once I know they are gone.

I jump down from the tree I'm sitting in and take the path that leads to Phoenix Drop. I arrive at the gate and my mood had already gotten better. I see Dante standing up on the wall looking out into the forest.

"Psst! Dante!"

"Lila! I'm so happy to see you! Come on in!"

He makes his way down to the switch and opens the gate to let me in. We embrace in a hug and share a small kiss.
He takes my hand and leads us to the spot we always go when I come to see him.

"I have to ask Laurence to stand guard on the village wall real quick, okay? Are you sure you don't want to meet him?"

"No. I don't want anyone to see me. Katelyn is an exception because I knew her before..."

"Before what Lila? What's happened?"

I hesitate before answering him. I could just tell him everything, me working for Zane, my betrayal, the running and hiding. Then he would understand why I have to leave him every few days, and why no one can see me.

I can't tell him. He'd want to help, to protect me. He'd be putting himself in unwanted danger and I wont allow him to do that. So I lie.
