Malachi X Reader {Request}

{Chapter with the smol child Malachi. Takes place in season 3 of MCD.}

{Your P.O.V.}

"Malachi, could you get the champagne please?"

"Sure thing."

He came over a few moments later with a tall green bottle. It was filled with a apple-mango flavored sparkling liquid. A personal favorite of mine that we bought while traveling.

"Here you are my lady."

That sent me into a quiet fit of giggles. Malachi poured two glasses for both of us and set the bottle down. We each held our glass and tapped them together before taking a sip.

"I love you."

He came closer and wrapped his free arm around my waist. Then he put a gentle kiss to my forehead and cheek. I set my glass down onto the table and wrapped my arms around his neck. He was quick in doing the same, but he held just above my hips.

I've always loved this side of Malachi, so passionate and pure. Despite everyone thinking his so innocent, I can say other wise. Malachi continued to kiss my lips before slowly making his way to my jawline.

A knock at the door ruined it all.

"Lord Malachi, Lady (Y/N), I apologize for any interruptions. We've arrived at Phoenix Drop."

Malachi seemed to inwardly sigh, but kept his composure. He never took his eyes off of me however.

"Dock the ship. See if Lady Aphmau is available at the moment. We wish to speak with her."

"Yes, my lord."
{If you get that reference, I love you.}

The guard's footsteps could be heard leaving and eventually disappearing.

"Why must everything ruin our fun?"

"Don't worry, love. We have tonight to be alone."

Malachi laughed and continued to kiss me. He slowly brought his hand down to my stomach, trying to feel for any movement.

Nothing was happening at the moment, but it's an on and off occurrence. I think he's just excited.

"Come on. I'm sure your mom will be just as ecstatic about this."

"Sorry, I can't help it."

I took Malachi's hand so the two of us could leave our ship bedroom. The wind outside was blowing slightly, sending the ocean's smell everywhere.

The sun stood in the middle of the sky, shining brightly to signal mid-day. Malachi noticed Aphmau coming towards the ship before I did.

She still looked just as beautiful since I first met her three years ago. She also looked just as beautiful.

"Malachi, (Y/N), I'm so glad to see you."

"Hello, Mom. I've missed you."

Aphmau hugged Malachi first and then me. She held a special place in her heart just for me, and I'll be eternally grateful for that.

"It's a pleasure to see you again Aphmau."

"Why don't we have some tea at my house while we catch up. I'm sure there's loads to talk about."

We quickly agreed and started following Aphmau towards the beautiful town of Phoenix Drop. Every time I come here, it steals my breath away.

"Here we are then, come inside."

"Thanks mom."

Malachi and I sat down at the table and talked with Aphmau while she made tea.

"Tell me everything that has happened with you two! I'm so curious."

I hadn't expected the blush to reach across my face, ear to ear. Malachi went into a laughing fit after noticing. I put my face into the palms of my hands to hide my embarrassment.

"Huh? What did I say?!"

"You didn't do anything wrong, Mom. (Y/N) is just-"

He started laughing again and couldn't finish his sentence. I hit him lightly on the shoulder. My blush was still noticeable, but I made no attempt to cover it anymore.

"Aphmau, keep an open mind for me okay? We have something important to tell you."

"Is something wrong? What's happened?"

Malachi seemed to have calmed down and was now running his fingers through my hair. I could tell that he wanted to break the news to his mother, but I was tempted to cheat him of the satisfaction.

"Well, mom. Ah-when two people love each other very much, they decide to make their family a little larger and-"

"You're pregnant!"

"Hmm, yeah. We-we're having a boy."

She started screaming happily for like two minutes strait.
