Just a (Jungkook x Reader)

They walked down the street in an awkward silence. They glanced at one another every so often, but preferred looking away to hide any color that dusted their cheeks. Don't know why Jungkook did this, he was wearing a mask. Finally, curiosity got the best of (Y/N).
"So... W-where is the r-restaurant?", she asked quietly, mentally punching herself for stuttering so much. Jungkook was surprised by the sudden break of silence.
"Ah... It's near that park we went by for the fanmeet.", he replied, looking at her. She looked so beautiful in her short red overalls and plain white shirt. The light illuminated her face and revealed her blush. He wanted to tell her how beautiful she was, but that might creep her out. She glanced over and he quickly looked away, whistling a random tune. He looked across the street and saw a little music shop named Cordapia's Music Store. At that moment the opening sign blinked on and he couldn't help himself. "Y'know, (Y/N)... You look really beautiful today... I mean... Not like you don't already look beautiful everyday..."
"What? Ani, Ani! I'm not beautiful, but that's very kind of you to say.", she replied quickly. Suddenly, he stopped moving and his hand grabbed hers.
"J-Jungkook oppa?"
"Don't you ever say you're not beautiful. You are more beautiful and talented than any other girl I know. And I.... And I.... Like you."
"What?"

They stared at each other his hand still in hers. Jungkook surprised at what he just said as much as (Y/N). They both stood there in compete awe for what felt like forever. Both too scared of the others reaction.
"D-do you mean it?", she finally asked in a voice so quiet it had to be carried by the wind.
"N-ne. Of course...", he replied just as quietly. "Every word."
"E-even the part when...", she started. Her face was bright pink. "When you said you- you liked me?"
"I said every word didn't I?", he said with a small smile. His face was also bright pink, but it was covered by his white face mask.

How should she react? She would be flat out lying if she said she didn't like him, too. But she had never faced a situation like this. She was always the weird girl that everyone didn't even bother to get to know because of her quietness.

How would she react? He just confessed to her out of nowhere. He was about as unaware of his feelings as her. She was quiet, mysterious, and at times spontaneous, but he loved it.

They hadn't realized they'd been standing in the same spot for a few minutes until a reckless skateboarder whizzed by them, breaking them out of their thoughts.

She'd made her decision.

"O-oppa...", she said a little louder than usual, but it was still very soft. "I-I... Like you, too..."

His eyes lit up. He pulled her into a tight hug.

After awhile they finally continued toward their destination.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've been busy with exams. However, this is my last week of school, so I will have more time to update during this summer!!
