I am but a shadow
Of the past experiences of my soul
And of the faint dream of my spirit
And painful struggle of my flesh
I am but a shadow
Of the darkest secrets of my mind
And memories buried deep down
That makes my heart loaded with angst and fears!
I am but a shadow...
Of endless hopes and dreams
Of innocence and youthfulness
Of pure heart and bliss.
Let this shadow stay
For this is the only way
To keep me going with ease
Let me be me, let me stay free.
