My body is filled with uncanny soreness, most of it being from last night and the remainder probably being the hard carpeted floor in lying on since we didn't make it to the bed at all.
The beaming sunlight is what forces me to open my eyes and move to my knees.
"Good you're up." Arsenio murmurs, digging through his suitcase.
"You left me on the floor?" I croak as he grins at the raspiness in my voice.
"Course not. I just got off of the floor too, we have somewhere to be at noon." I glance at the alarm clock by the bed to see the green digital number displaying eleven fifteen.
"Today? Can we not sleep? In bed this time?" I whine, crawling into the plush silk sheets I hadn't gotten a chance to rest in.
"Tonight, sure. But not now, find your swim wear."
"My swim suit?" I correct, pulling the comforter over my head. Moments later it's pulled back and Arsenio kisses me to which I push him away. "I have morning breath and I don't like the water. You know this."
He kisses me anyways. "To both statements, I do not care. Get dressed. You only dislike water because you've never experienced it."
Sighing I roll my eyes, in the mood for sleeping as I always am, and reach for the suitcase I didn't pack.
"Who packed this?"
"Alanine."
"So they know where we are?"
"Yes." I reach in the bag grabbing the necessary materials and joining Arsenio in the shower.

"First timers?" A guy with a heavy accent asks, holding a surfboard."Yes, he is." Arsenio answers making me realize I should've grabbed my own sunglasses.
"Cool, it'll be radical. Polin will take you two out to the pinger and distach the skies. And you ride in to shore. Cool?"
"Yeah." Arsenio replies shaking his head. I wait until the guy is far enough in front of us before questioning.
"What?"
"I have no idea what he said kitten. I'm taking it that we'll be dispatched at the ocean marker."
"I literally can not swim Arsenio."
"You're going to be fine baby. I've got you." I follow him to the medium sized, fancy yacht where we seem to be the only two passengers. I watch in awe as the waves ripple behind the boat not moving even when Arsenio comes over with a bottle of sunscreen.
"I don't need sunscreen." I hated the smell of it whenever my mother forced me to put it on.
"If Rosie needs it, you definitely do. I don't need you burned for our plans later." Without arguing I allow him to rub the lemony smelling sun screen on me. It smells divine.
"Why won't you put any on?" I murmur sinking into his touch, not moving from his lap even though he's finished.
"I don't need it."
"Why?"
"Because I don't burn easily. My skin is dark enough to withstand the heat." He murmurs kissing my cheek. My heart begins beating quickly when the boat stops and the single water jet ski dislodges. I watch as Arsenio puts on my life jacket, then his, before stepping over the onto the water raft. "Come on."
He holds out his hand, while I hold the latches on my life jacket tightly. The caption of the yacht comes, giving Arsenio a handful of instructions and guidelines to which he nods in understanding.
