Fred, Kat, George, and I weaved through the scattered papers and litter in Diagon Alley as we chased after the death eater that we had found attacking some random couple outside the bar that we had been hanging out at. The death eater was pretty swift on his feet and ran pretty fast, making it a little harder to follow. We reached a big stone wall, and the death eater stopped, obviously not knowing what to do. We caught up to it and stopped, scattering ourselves out so it wouldnt get away. The death eater turned on his heel and faced us with a snarl on his lips.

"Now, that's not very friendly." I shot at the death eater as it growled at me. I rolled my eyes as he raised his wand at me. He sent what looked like thin blue lights as sharp as knives out of the wand. I mentally kicked myself for not wearing a jacket over my t-shirt as the blood ran down my arm when one of them hit me. George yelled out a spell, knocking him out before he did any more damage. I smiled at George and rested myself on the wall.

As I looked down at my legs, I saw them start to move around, although I was standing perfectly still. A groan escaped my lips as I pressed a hand to my forehead while I gripped the wall next to me.

"Gwen, are you okay?" was the last thing I heard before the world around me began to spin completely, then went black.

The sound of beeping was the sound that I awoke to. It was coming from the left of me, so I turned my head to face it as I let my eyes flutter open. I let out a groan as I saw the heart monitor next to me, beeping away as it kept track of my heart rate. What am I doing in a hospital? I groaned with annoyance in my head as I rubbed my forehead.

"You fell and hit your head pretty hard on that wall you were standing next to, so we thought that we should bring you here." I heard Fred say from my right. My eyes snapped open and I glanced over at him, looking at him cautiously.

"How did you know...?" I asked him suspiciously.

"The look of annoyance is written all over you face Gwen" he chuckled as he bent over and pressed a kiss to my forehead.

"I'm glad that you're feeling better." He murmured as he took my hand in his and rubbed his thumb against the back of my hand.

"Yeah, what happened?" I asked as I looked around the room.

"You just fainted. We would have taken you back to the shop, but you hit your head pretty hard and there was some blood, so we brought you here." Fred re-explained.

"Oh." I said simply as continued to look around.

"What's wrong with me then?" I asked.

"We don't know yet. The doctor hasn't come back with the test results yet." Fred said quietly. My gaze fell on him as I perked an eyebrow.

"Test results? What kind of test results?" I question.

"Just blood." He said simply, like it was no big deal.

"Okay then." I said. "Where are Kat and George?" I asked, noticing that they weren't in the room. Just as Fred went to answer, the door opened and we both looked towards it. Kat looked over at me and a grin spread across her face as she ran over and jumped onto the space next to me on the bed.

"Thank God that you're alright!" she said as she wrapped her arms around my shoulders and squeezed me tight.

"I won't be for long!" I squeaked out as I gripped her arm.

"Oh, right. Sorry!" she said sheepishly as she let go of me and climbed off the bed, sinking into the chair to the left of my bed.

"It's cool. How long was I out for?" I asked.

"Couple hours." George said as he shoved his hands into his pockets and walked over to stand behind Kat's chair. I nodded my head.

"How long ago were the blood tests taken?" was the next question out of my mouth.

"About ten minutes after you were admitted." Kat answered, grimacing. She had probably been in the room when the blood had been drawn.

"So they should have the results soon." I said.

"Yeah, let's hope. I'm gonna go get some coffee though. Everybody want some?"Fred asked as he stood up. Everyone nodded in agreement and Fred nodded his head as he let go of my hand and slipped out the door of my room. I pursed my lips and laid back against the pillows as I contemplated the many possibilities of what was wrong with me.

"Gwen, I'm sure that it's nothing major." Kat said. I nodded my head and smiled back, before turning my head towards the door as it opened. In walked a man wearing a lab coat, with chestnut brown hair, green eyes and a smile on his face.

"Mrs. Weasley, you're awake. That's very good." He said as he glanced down at the chart in his hands.

"I like to think so as well." I replied as I smiled softly at the others. Kat and George smiled back, before I looked back over at the doctor. He smiled and looked up at me.

"Dont we all? I'm Dr. Adams. I've been the one looking after you." He said as he offered a hand to me. I took it in mine and shook it, before letting go and letting my hand fall back into my lap.

"Nice to meet you, though it's probably be nicer if this was on different terms." I replied with a smile. Dr. Adams laughed and nodded his head.

"Yes, I agree completely." He said, continuing to nod his head as he looked back down at my charts.

"Are the test results in yet?" I asked curiously as I sat up a bit more.

"Yes, they are." He said as he flipped through the charts.

"Well?" I prompted, wanting to know what was going on with me. Dr. Adams looked up at me and smiled softly.

"Mrs. Weasley, you have a small case of anemia, which is very common for your condition." He said as he smile grew a bit more. I felt the color drain from my face as I processed this bit of information.

"Condition? What condition?" I asked, a bit weakly. The doctor didn't say a word, but smiled as he reached into the pocket of his white lab coat and pulled out a big white bottle and handed it to me. I took it into my shaking hands and turned it over so I could read the label.

"Pregnancy vitamins." I breathed out as I read the label. Now my hands were really shaking and the bottle falls into my lap as my head starts to spin a little.

"How?" I breathed out.

"Well, when two people love each other-" Kat starts out, but stops as I glare at her.

"I know how this happened, I mean how can I be pregnant?" I grit out.

"Well-" Kat starts out again.

"Kat! I know how it happened! I mean...Fred and I were so careful. How..." I trailed off as I looked at the bottle in my lap. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up into George's face.

"It'll be okay." He said reassuringly. I felt tears start to build up in the corners of my head as I nodded. George smiled sympathetically as he pulled me into a comforting hug. I rested my head against his shoulder and squeezed Kat's hand as she slipped it into mine.

"I think that I will just leave you all alone. You are free to leave whenever you want, just be sure to take those vitamins and get your rest. No stress or over-active activities." He said with a smile. "Congratulations and good luck."

As soon as the door was shut, Kat let go of my hand and walked around the other side of the bed, before climbing onto it and laying next to me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders and leaning her head against mine.

"You're going to be a mommy." She said quietly as she placed a hand on my stomach.

"Yeah, I am." I said back, just as quietly, as I placed my hand next to hers, imagining a little person growing inside of me. Then, a thought occurs to me.

"I didn't ask him how far along I was."

"Well, let's find out then, shall we?" Kat said with a smirk as she crawled to the end of my bed and picked up my chart. She sat cross-legged at the foot of the bed and tucked her hair behind her ears as she flipped through the chart and creased her brow as she took in the information on the papers.

"Do you even understand any of that medical mumbo gumbo?" I asked as I arched an eyebrow and laced my fingers together, resting them over my stomach. Kat looked up at me and nodded.

"Yeah, my dad's a doctor so, I kind of learnt all this stuff while growing up." She muttered as she looked back at the chart.

"You are 6 weeks preggers." Kat said with a smirk as she looked up at me.

"6 weeks? Wow." I said as I looked off at the wall in shock. Kat crawled back up to be and pulled me into a comforting hug.

"It'll be alright. We'll work through this. It won't be so bad. Babies are actually kind of cute." She said with a smile.

"It's not the whole having a baby thing that I'm worried about...It's telling Fred, that I'm kind of afraid of." I whispered.

"Well, Fred adores you. He sat on that tiny uncomfortable seat the whole time you were knocked out, he'd do anything for you and I'm sure as hell, He'll be happy about this and you two will have the most red headed baby the world has ever seen." George laughed and I did too.

"Can we just get out of here? I hate hospitals." I muttered as I swung my legs over the side of the bed and stood up. My legs felt a bit weak underneath me, so I grasped the edge of the bed tightly as I steadied myself. Seeing this, George rushed over and grasped my shoulders to hold me up.

"Take it easy, will you? That's my little niece or nephew in that stomach of yours that you need to take care of now." He said with a soft smile as he looked down at me. I laughed and nodded my head as I looked into his eyes.

"I will be." I said as I softly pushed his hands away and walked over to where my clothes were neatly folded and placed on a chair in the corner. I picked them up and headed over to the little bathroom that was in the room, closing the door softly behind me as I flicked the lights on. I set my clothes down on the floor and slipped the hospital gown off. As I went to grab my clothes to put them on, I caught my reflection in the mirror. Walking over, I looked at myself. There were bandages on my shoulders from the cuts, but that's not what I looked at. I placed my hands over my stomach and rubbed it slowly as I looked at it. I turned to the side, but didn't see any difference from what I usually looked like, yet there was supposedly a whole other little person inside of me.

I walked out of the bathroom and turned the light off. George and Kat were whispering about something as they sat next to each other on the bed, but stopped at seeing me.

"Okay, you know I hate secrets, especially the ones about me, so spill." I said as I gathered my hair up into a messy bun and secured it with a hair tie that had been in the pocket of my jeans.

"When are you going to tell Fred?" Kat asked. I paused and looked at her for a second.

"I don't know." I said as I walked around them and grabbed the bottle of pregnancy vitamins and stuffed it into my purse.

"You won't be able to keep it from him forever, you know." Kat said as they turned to face me.

"I am well aware of that fact, Kat." I gritted out as I zipped my bag closed and slung the strap over my shoulders.

"Well, you should tell him then. Sooner, rather than later." Kat said.

"I will! I will tell him when I'm ready, okay? Gosh, Kat! I don't need you telling me what to do!" I yelled at her, getting annoyed with her telling me what to do. Both her and George looked at me in shock, totally speechless. I pressed a hand to my forehead and rubbed it as I let out a sigh.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap." I said quietly as I sunk into one of the chairs. I felt Kat pull me into her arms and she rubbed my back as she held me close.

"It's okay. It's just those crazy hormones running through you." She whispered.

"I don't think I'm gonna like being pregnant." I muttered as I pulled away. Kat and George laughed at me, but stopped as the door opened. We all looked over and saw Fred standing in the doorway, looking at us suspiciously.

"What's going on?" he asked as he walked into the room.

"Nothing important." I said, shooting him a smile.

"Okay." He said slowly. "Well, all they had was this really bad coffee that looked more like soup, so I thought we could just wait until we got out of here to go get some." He said as he walked over towards me. I stood up and walked over to him, falling into his arms.

"I'm not really in the mood for coffee anymore anyways." I said as I looked up at him and smiled.

"You must really be sick." He muttered as he wrapped his arms around my waist. A laugh escaped my lips and I shook my head.

"Just a little anemic. Doctor said I need to take it easy and get my rest. No over-active activities, so it's best if I don't go on more cases right now." I said as I stood up on my tip toes and pressed my lips to his.

"Let's get out of here." I said as we broke apart and I looked into his eyes.

"Sounds good." Fred said as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders and led me out of the room. I leaned my head against his shoulder as we walked out of the room, Kat and George close behind us as we walked down the hall to the doors.
