My "husband" was pulling me inside. I kind of liked what was going on and I let my mind wander into my dirty thoughts. I must be going mad. Just a few hours ago I didn't want anything to do with him, and now I want to do him? He was not even my husband yet!

"David, I heard him say, I found your wife!" he exclaimed in joy.

Upon hearing this my head snapped up in disbelief. If Daniel was not my husband to be, who was? I let go of Daniel's hand at the speed of lightning and blushed feeling super embarrassed. I looked up to see a replica of Daniel standing in front of me. He was as gorgeous and fit as Daniel, but something in his eyes felt vastly different from his twin. His eyes looked like it contained many secrets unlike his brother who looked more open and freer. David looked at me and nodded in acknowledgement. It was perfectly clear that David and Daniel were twins, but how on earth could their auras seem so different.

"Great. I had two options and I got stuck with the scary one." I groaned internally.

"I think we should go to the dining room. Everyone is waiting" I said formally and left the room.

The twins followed behind me to the dining room. I was met by my parents and their parents, I'm assuming. They welcomed us in and we all took a seat. Their mother was beautiful. She had bright blue eyes, and brown curly hair. She was dressed in a blue gown that made her look younger than she was. Their father was a handsome man which I presume is where the twins had gotten their killer looks. However, Daniel had blue eyes and David had dark eyes that looked sultry just like his dad.

"I see you have met the twins darling. I am Irene. I will be your mother-in-law" said Irene in a friendly but formal manner. I liked her, but she seemed scary. "You will be marrying David" I nodded along.

"Now dear, don't scare the girl away." the father interrupted. "Hi Rachel. I've seen you a couple of times when you were a kid and so have the twins but all of you were so young. I don't expect you to remember any of us. I am Henry Moon." he smiled. "I know this is very sudden for you and I know it must be life changing and I do apologize for that but we will take the time you and David need to get you adjusted to all of this."

His smile was comforting, and his words made me feel less anxious. I was grateful for what he said. I was already getting used to the thought of changing my entire life, but I was apprehensive about what was to come. Would I even fall in love with David?

"Thank you, Mister Moon, for trying to make this easier on me." I smiled weakly.

I glanced up at the twins for some reassurance. Daniel flashed a bright smile at me, but David looked sullen and bored. I cannot blame him, can I? He is being forced into this as much as I was. Maybe he would lighten up once everything is over.

"Well, I think it is about time we eat." my mother said, breaking the silence that had settled over the room. "Rachel darling, would you come in to the kitchen for a second?"

While the kitchen chefs came out with delicious platters of Korean barbecued beef and rice, to celebrate the marriage meeting, I followed my mother into the kitchen.

"How are you feeling? He is so handsome!" my mum squealed like a little girl.

"I am okay mum. He is handsome, but he doesn't look like my type. Why couldn't I have chosen between Daniel and David? Daniel seems so much friendlier ".

"Aww honey, give David a chance okay? I promise you he will lighten up" my mum said happily.

I just nodded in the hopes of ending the conversation. I wanted to believe what she said but my gut was telling me otherwise. I left the kitchen and took my place in the dining room next to my dad. Unfortunately, I ended up sitting opposite Daniel who I could not face after our little intimate encounter in the backyard. However, he seemed to have forgotten about it and started asking me questions animatedly. Thinking that it was convenient, I answered him like it never happened. After dinner everyone sat around the fireplace and talked about the wedding. I lay back on the couch and looked out the window. It was mid-autumn and the days were getting colder. I wanted to get married in the summer, but I guess I will just have to settle for winter. I sighed silently and went back to listening to their conversations.

"Yeah me too" I heard Daniel say.

Apparently, while I was away in Rachel land, everyone had conveniently left the room and I found myself in an awkward silence with David.

"Hi, I'm Rachel" I stupidly mumbled.

"Yeah, I heard." he replied, clearly uninterested.

I couldn't believe that he didn't even bother making conversation. I was about to give him a piece of my mind when his phone started to ring.

"I am sorry. I will have to take this" he half smiled and got up to take the phone call.

His face lit up as he said hello into the phone. He spoke in hush tones and he turned away from me such that I could not see his facial expressions. I could tell that it was something serious though. I was supposed to be talking to him and getting to know him, but instead I was being ignored. I fiddled with the bow on my dress while he finished his phone call.

"Sarah, was it? We have to talk." he smiled, and it took my breath away momentarily, but I was too preoccupied by the fact that he completely ignored me and then called me by the wrong name. He did not apologise for the call either.

"It's Rachel!" I said through gritted teeth.

He ignored my tone and sat next to me on the couch.

"Listen. I know we are getting married and everything, but don't let me get in the way of your life. We both don't want this and we both know this is for our family business to grow. I already have a house where we will live. It is close to our college. I won't get in your way if you don't get in mine. Think of it as more freedom and besides I will also be providing for you. Let's just agree to pretend that we are not married, and we can lead separate lives okay?"

I was too lost for words. I didn't know if I should have been grateful that he thought about me, or if I should have punched his face for telling me that he was going to ignore me. It seemed like we were going to be in the same college too. This was turning out to be a big mess.

"I take that as a yes" he patted my head and turned to look at his phone.

I finally lapsed back into reality and was about to tell him off when Daniel and the rest came back in.

"I hope you two got to talking. The house is beautiful by the way." he smiled.
