Louis sat down next to the gravestone, rubbing his hands over his swollen stomach. He placed a couple daisies on top of the cold ground.
"Hi, Liam..." He started. "I know it's been a while since I've talked to you because I've been busy with the baby. I don't know if you wanted to know or not, but we're having a girl. And we miss you. A lot. I know you're in a better place, but I really want you here with me."
Louis broke into sobs. "I-I miss you b-babe. I m-miss you s-so much."
Louis wiped his tears, but he still felt wetness on his cheeks. It started raining. "I have to go before it starts raining too hard. We love you, Liam. I'll be back soon."
He kissed his fingers and placed it on the cold ground. He felt a small flutter in his stomach as he stood up and walked back to the car.
He stopped by a Chinese place for some dinner then finished his drive home.
He ate his dinner then went straight to bed. He thought about his husband one last time before slipping into a deep sleep....
"Liam, Liam!" Louis yelled as he ran down the stairs.
"What?" Liam asked frantically. "Are you okay?"
"I'm pregnant," Louis said.
"What?! Are you serious?!" Liam asked, a giant smile appearing on his face.
Louis opened his hand to reveal the 3 positive pregnancy tests. Liam started at them happily. He looked up at Louis before picking him up and twirling him around. "We're having a baby!"
"We're having a baby," Louis repeated.
"I love you, Louis Payne."
" I love you more, Liam Payne."

"Li, you promised you'd be there," Louis said sadly into the phone.
"I know, baby. I'm trying..." Liam said on the other end.
"You know what, it's okay. It's just an appointment. They'll be more," Louis said. He wanted to sound like it wasn't a big deal but he really wanted Liam there for their first ultrasound.
"I'll try to be there, baby, okay?"
"Okay. I love you."
"I love you too, Lou."

"Do you have your husband with you, Louis?" The doctor asked as they walked into a room.
"No, he had to work," Louis said, semi-sadly.
"Alright so let's start..."
