After Mimi had left I wanted to take a bath, just like I usually do. I like baths. They are warm and comfortable. I went upsairs to the bathroom, grabbed a towel and turnt the water on. As clear blue water came out of the tap the water rose more and more. I took of my clothes and sat down in the tub filled with the warm water. I put my earphones in to listen to some music, but as I wanted to put some music on my body started to tingle. It was almost like I became one with the water. It was a feeling I had never felt before. As the tingle went away so did my legs. Insted of legs I had a tail now. It looked like the lower half of me was possesed by a goldfish. My first though was: I look like a goldfish. How cool as it looked it aslo freaked me out. My second though was How is this possible.

I touched the scales on my lower half. They were orange and I could feel the touch of my cold fingers pushing on the nerves. So many questions went through my mind. It seems like a joke, but how could it be. This must be done with the power of magic. I had heard stories before, that once three girls went to mako island and got turned into mermaids. Of course that just seemed like made up stories.

I didn't want to wast all the water, but I couldn't sit in the bath and wait untill the tail would dissapear. I let the water flow away. Grabbed a towel from the drawer and dried myself. I sat there for nearly half an hour before the tail magically vanished.

I put my clothes back on and walked downstairs where I had left my phone. I got a text from my dad. 'We are going to Fish & Co. do you want to go with us? If you do could you pick up Kiki?, Dad.' I texted him back that I'd love to join them. Strangely I carved for some fish. Something that I didn't have before. My dad texted me the adress from the place were Kiki was.

After only a five minute walk I arrived at the house. It was the first time in ages I was happy the sun shone so brightly. I knocked on the door and an old woman with gray hair and a friendly looking face opened the door. 'I'm here for my little sister Kiki' I told her. 'Mizuko' the woman said as she turned around. 'I'm sorry' the girl said without looking up. 'Mimi?' I was astonished. It was such a coincidence. Now she looked a bit happier. 'I'm here for Kiki' I said. 'She is playing outside, are you in a hurry?' She asked. 'I am. We are going to meet our parents in half an hour' I told her.

Mimi closed the door behind her and together we walked over the green fields of grass that lay behind her house. 'Have you experienced anything strange today?' I asked her. Being curious about what happened earlier. 'No, why do you ask?'. I looked at the ground, not knowing how to tell such a thing. 'I went to take a bath this morning and...' I Begun. 'I turned into something that looked like a mermaid'. 'That's funny' she laughed like it was a joke I just told. 'It's true..' that moment I saw Kiki laying on the grass. 'Kiki come over here!' I ordered her. Kiki, who had short blond hair just like me looked up and walked over to us. 'Were going to Fish & Co' I told her. Next to her stood a boy that looked like he was about the same age as Kiki. 'See you Monday' the boy with black hair and small brown hair waved Kiki goodbye.
