The next morning I woke up thanks to the sound of my phone ringing. I jumped out of my bed to grab my phone. Two missed calls from Mimi.. I imediatly called her back. Let's hope it's not her voice mail. The first thing I thought about was turning into a mermaid. I could do it so maybe she can to. One..two..three.. no answer. This couldn't be true. Instead of sleeping for another two hours I just walked to the bathroom, brushed my long brown hair and put on my bikini. I skipped the shower. It could happen again. If that's the case I can forget it. Stading in a space that's hardly big enough to stand in.

After I ate some breakfast I decided to call Mimi again. One.. two.. and finally someone picked up the phone. 'You called?'. 'Yes I did. Something terrible has happened' she seemed pretty upset. 'When I showered this morning I turned into a fish like creature' she explained. 'Want to go to the beach?' I asked her. 'Meet you there'

I still couldn't believe she actually could turn into a mermaid to. About half an hour later I arrived at the beach. I saw Mimi standing there. Her hair put up and she wore a red swimming suit. It looked the same as it did yesterday. I could feel the cold water touching the scales. I felt just like a dolphin in the sea. I looked next to me and saw that indeed Mimi had became one to. Only her tail looked slightly different than mine. Hers had red and white colors blended together while mine looked just orange like the scales of a goldfish.

'Wanna swim?' I asked her. 'let's use our new tails'. At first it was a bit uncomfortable. I had swam with flippers before but this was different. As I became more confident my speed rose. Now I really felt like a dolphin. As I went underwater I held my breath for a couple of seconds. Mimi told me she could breath without holding it. I tried it to. It just felt like I was breathing on land. It was great. Now it realised how great it was to be blessed with this power. I felt free, but it also ment I could never touch water as a human again without transforming
