Chapter Eight

Fang P.O.V.

I can't find (y/n).

I've turned around, heading back to Max and the rest of the flock, searching as I go, between the few hawks here and there I haven't seen anything.

Where the hell are you?

I felt my eyes widen, what was that? I remembered angels little "power".

Angel, is that you?

Yes, Max told me to try and find you, where'd you go? And where's that other girl?

I flew a little slower, trying to think of what to say, I didn't even know where she went.

Suddenly I saw her, back turned towards me and Ari standing over her. I quickly folded my wings and bomb dived towards him.

Fang! Where are you?

I grabbed my ear trying to ignore Angel, which didn't do much good as her voice became less controlled.

Hold on God dammit.

I yelled both at Angel and (y/n) as she fell to the ground.

Your P.O.V.

I could feel my body trembling as I was drifting in and out of consciousness. I could see Fang now, smashing his fists into Ari's face. But to no avail, many other monsters like Ari grabbed Fang and threw him to the ground like he was nothing more than a piece of paper.

I shift my weight, trying to stand as they all tore at him, I could feel my blood boiling with every gasp of pain Fang made.

"Get off of him before I beat you like the rabbit mutts you are."

I spit at them as I fully regained my balance. I could feel the hot blood running down my face from where Ari hit me before, and it only made me angrier.

"Looky here, this little girl wants to play in the big boy pen."

Fang looked at me, eyes blazing, I saw him tell me to leave. All I could do was smile madly and turn from him to Ari.

"Maybe next time if you're a good little puppy, i will give you a little squeaky toy to choke on instead of my fucking fist."

He laughed like a lunatic acting like I was a joke, but something washed over me. My arms felt more powerful, my veins were bulging, and as I looked down I felt less close to the ground, and along my arms were very, very faint stripes.

All of the sudden pain washed over my back and I bend over hugging myself, I could feel my bones growing almost with a snapping sensation my wings flew from my shirt. My mouth opened and I felt sharp fangs poking my lower lip.

I screamed, but it wasn't, mine it felt and sounded wild, like.. A tiger, almost. My ears bended and suddenly, I wasn't me anymore, I couldn't feel my body. All I could do... is watch.

Fang P.O.V.

I watched (y/n) transform into.. An Eraser. But it was different, her hair was course, her eyes were gold and she was much taller than I am. A long peach colored tail whipped behind her as she dove at them.

They all surrounded her, and were thrown off by a pure rage that swept through the air with every punch that landed on her.

I scrambled up as two of the unoccupied Erasers grabbed me, pain surged on my shoulder where I fell, and I yelped softly. Trying to grit my teeth and fight back.

I kicked one of them on the knee, freeing myself. I stumbled backwards and stood, but neither of them raced after me, they stood there with terror in their eyes.

I looked up, and saw her towering a foot or two above me was (y/n). Her breathing was harsh, almost snarling as the two Erasers retreated with Ari. She barreled over me blood lust in her eyes.

I grabbed her by wing and skidded behind her.

"(Y/n) stop! They're leaving we have to go back to Max!"

I fell to the ground abruptly, looking at (y/n) and slowly, she became shorter. Her body returned to it's normal state as she staggered towards me, and opened her mouth, but I couldn't hear her.

I stood, she looked.. beautiful, there was blood and tears running down her face, but.. still.

She slowly got closer to me and hugged me abruptly. She didn't move, didn't make a sound, I felt weird having her on me, and I gently moved her away.

"What are you acting so cuddly for?"

Her eyebrows furrowed and I smiled,

"You're a dick, you know that?"

I stopped and laughed giving her a wink, her face became disgusted when she understood my little notion.

"You're vile, I'm leaving."

I quietly walked behind her, and moved her hair from her ear.

"Oh? I thought I was cute."
