The crowd was appaled, but they wanted to go home so badly some cried, whined and despaired. But Alexander was firm in that decision to lead them back home. He was very sure of that. However, one member of the crowd, who for his looks was a war veteran, said:

"I don't wanna be rude, but how? I fought many battles in the Army, but the thing that killed Mr. Smith is out of our understanding and reach. Sorry if--"

"Well, let's go. To the source." said Alex, interrupting the veteran.

They left as soon as he threw a stone to the light's source. When they were in its new location, with another person holding a carbon lamp to find it, they threw it again. And always in front of them.

They used the tree they were leaving from, lighted by another carbon lamp.

Then they saw two silhouettes heading towards them. By their looks, they were holding weapons. Another person took a stone near her, and threw it. It landed on one of the silhouettes, so it screamed and groaned in pain, and misfired. It was a hunter. The other one, also a hunter, was aiding him.

"Hey, these were hunters?" said one person.

"Of course they were hunters, you dimwit!" replied another person.

"Hey, come on here!" said Alexander.

The hunters came to them. Alex assumed that they were pulled by that eerie light too. He introduced himself to them.

"Hello, I'm Alexander Sanders. What are your names?"

"My name is Edward Johnson, and my companion is Jason Medina."

And before Alex complimented, loud and slow-pacing footsteps accompanied by eerie growls and the raging wind were heard on the forest, causing everyone to be afraid to the point of panic. As time passed by, the footsteps and growls were growing louder, causing panic to everyone.

Then the strange cannon arm sticked out of the branches again.
