There was at least 20 people there. They all were talking to each other. "Hey Kenzie!" Kaci said from behind, followed by Calum and Michael. "Hey guys." I said. "You okay?" Michael asked me. "Uhh, yeah I'm fine.." I said. Really, I was lying.
I just REALLY wanted to introduce myself to the boy. He was on my mind all day!

Around an hour later, the boy arrived. "Hey Luke!" Caspar, the owner of the dorm said. The boy's name was Luke? "Hey Caspar!" Luke said. "How late you staying?" Caspar asked Luke. "I'm not sure, maybe 10:00 pm?" Luke said. "Alright." Caspar said, waking off.
Now, it was my turn. Luke sat down in a chair with a cup in his hand. I sighed, "alright here we go..." I walked in front of Luke. I just stood there for a second and Luke looked up, with the cup still in his mouth. "Hi.."I said. "Uh, Hi?" Luke said back, obviously sounding confused. "I'm.. Uh.. Mackenzie." I said. "Oh cool, I'm Luke." Luke said back. "How come I've never really seen you before, Mackenzie?" He asked me. "I'm not sure. But, uh, you can call me Kenzie." I said. "Ok, Kenzie, I like that." Luke said, taking another sip of his drink.
"Oh wait, I think I bumped into you earlier.." Luke said. "Yeah, that was me..." I said. "Ok, so I have seen you before." Luke said. "Yeah I-"
"Hey Luke! Come meet my girlfriend, Alice." Caspar said, calling Luke over.
"Sorry I gotta go. But here's my number.. Call me." Luke winked. I blushed.

"Kenzie! Don't you know what this means?" Kaci asked me. "No not really.." I said, walking out of the party. "LUKE LIKES YOU!!" She practically shouted. "Kaci, shut up! Someone will hear you!" I said. "So? Then they'll know the hottest guy on campus likes you, Mackenzie Mortez." Kaci said. "Yeah but I don't want them to think I'm some wannabe chick looking for a boyfriend." I said, staring down at the number Luke gave me.
"How do you feel?" Kaci asked, a little too excited. "I-I- don't know. I'm excited but scared.." I said. "Why scared?" Kaci asked. "Because people will think I'm a wannabe.." I said. "No they won't." Kaci said.
"Oh whatever, you don't understand." I said walking off to my dorm.
