My grip on you grows ever tighter. My arms holding you like a vise. You try to escape me, try to find solace in other things and people. But you cannot escape me for I am your mind.
You control me as much as you control yourself, which I control now. You want to stop, you try, but I will not let you. You are mine now.
Your friends try to help you, distract you. They give you advice, tell you that you can control me eventually. They are wrong. You cannot control me because I am you.
We are forever tethered, in sickness and in health
Until death do us part.

I did not write this from personal experience. I hope I represented it correctly.
