Okay, on this matter I just want to say; Don't make the horns too intricate or complex, don't do an uneven amount or anything over four (Broken horns do count, and if you can't see them under the hair, please make note) , and don't copy canon horns. Also, please please pleasepleaseplease don't have connecting horns! It seems unnatural.
On symbols: They tend to be fairly simple line drawings. I also noticed that the horns and symbols tend to have vague similarities, but this is not a necessity, It's just something cool I noticed.
