By the time I open my eyes again, we're already at school.
My dad pulls to a stop in front of the drop off, we say our goodbyes and I step out. I already see some friends and I run up to meet them.
"Hey Nora!" Kimberly says while smiling.
"Hey Kim" I say, smiling back.
"You ready for one more year of this bullshit?" She says while laughing.
"Yeah totally" I say and walk to my first class. The room is already half way full and there's not many empty seats left. I choose a seat next to Connor. Connor is one of my good friends.
"Hey dork" I say.
"Hey fag" he returns the comment.
"Excited for the first day of school?" I say in a fake happy voice.
"Ugh, no" he says while sighing.
Our conversation is cut off by the teacher walking in the room.
"Hello class! Welcome to the new school year. And to start of the new year, we have a new student! Let's all say hello to Niall Horan."
I look at the new boy. Now he was breath taking. He had blonde hair and ocean-blue eyes. His face structure was perfectly aligned and his toned body was showing through his white v-neck. He looked fragile, yet in a way he looked tough, like he would knock you out in a heartbeat if he had to.
He kind of half smiled and took a seat in the back. I smelled his cologne as he walked past me.
After nonsense of the first 4 periods, I had lunch. And lucky for me, so did Niall. I walk past him and I sit next to a girl named Carly. I smile at her and look back at Niall. As what I can see, he already made friends. Good friends. He's sitting at the popular table, playing along with the guys. I turn back around and start to eat my lunch. He's good. Really good. I didn't think someone could make friends so fast and easy as he did. But then again, there's something about him that makes you attached to him. I'm already attracted to him and I haven't even known him for a day.
As soon as I finish my lunch, I hurriedly start walking out of the lunch room because I'm going to be late for my next class, but then of course I bump into Niall.
Great. Just what I need.
"Oh, sorry!" I quickly say, embarrassed. I can feel my cheeks getting hot and I'm sure he can see me getting red.
"No problem, it was my fault." He says and winks at me.
I awkwardly smile and walk away as fast as I can, hoping my normal color comes back before my next class.
I can't believe I just did that. But he did wink at me. Is that good or bad? I don't know and I'm not planning on finding out yet. I just hope this doesn't turn into something bad.
