The Big Change

Lost

We arrived at the airport at night. I'd never seen a place with so many people. So this was what America was like. I turned around and decided to go exploring.

"Mom I'm going to get something to eat" I told her.

"Can't you wait darling? We just have to wait a bit longer for your father and brother to arrive." My brother and my father had taken a different plane here because they missed the one they were originally supposed to take with us. Idiots.

"No mom I can't wait I'm starving. Don't worry I'll be back soon" She didn't look convinced but finally agreed to let me go. I wandered around the airport looking at the many choices I had. I was so busy looking around that I didn't notice the boy that had stopped in front of me. I bumped into him.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there!" I apologized. He gave me a funny look and raised his eyebrows. Then he laughed. I scrunched up my eyebrows and frowned.

"Why are you laughing at me?" I asked him. This made him laugh even more. Well I wasn't about to stand here while some random stranger laughed at me. I turned around and started to walk away when he grabbed my wrist. I turned around and gave him an annoyed look.

" I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you. I just found the fact that you didn't recognize me amusing." He said smirking. "Why the hell would I recognize you?" I demanded. He stopped smiling.

"You mean you don't know who I am" He asked looking shocked.

"That's exactly what I mean. Now how about you let go of me or I scream for security?" I threatened.

"How can you not know who I am?" He asked looking truly shocked.

"I don't know! Leave me alone for goodness sakes!!" I exclaimed. I shook myself off and left him standing there, staring at me with an open mouth. I ran as fast as I could from there until I realized I didn't know where I was. I looked around and nothing looked familiar. I wandered around until I realized that I wasn't in the airport anymore...

Duhn, duhn, duhn!! Cliff hanger!! Who do you guys think that person was? I'm thinking to bring him back later on in the story so don't forget him!! I hope you guys like it.
