"What the hell are you trying to say now?!" Kid Flash drama's.
"The boy managed to cast a curse that will only affect individuals within this tower." Zatanna sorrowfully admits.
"Are you sure?" Robin asks. His face dejected from the news. Superboy notices his gloomy mood so he takes hold of him in an embrace hoping to get a reward smile from his bird.
"This curse..." Zatanna gasps. "We have to find a way to abandon the tower."
"Where will we go?" Nightwing stresses
"We just need to get out of the tower."
The team follow Zatanna's orders and prepare themselves to leave.
Batman and Nightwing operate the supercomputer together. They forensically press the digital keyboards and stare with an adamant from everyone else that was present.
"The zeta tubes are completely operational." Batman states. "According to the system here."
Zatanna closes her eyes and lets out her hands before the tubes themselves. Everyone within the large room watched as she performs a spell.
"Magic." Zatanna gasps. "That child did something to the tubes."
"What the hell are you talking about!" Kid Flash sighs. "Is this all some sort of act?"
"Can we trust Zatanna?" The red head turns to everyone behind him. "Last time someone escaped or was rescued from the wrath of these sorcerers, it backfired. "
Doctor Fate dazzles Zatanna, stunning her for a brief moment. Fate's eyes begin to glow as his hand points in the direction of Zatanna. The young witch's body begins to glow a bright gold pigment as result of Doctor Fate magic.
"I am not detecting any source of tethering sorcery within her." Doctor Fate announces. He releases Zatanna from his magic causing her to wake and rattle out of balance as she slowly touches the floor.
"Did you just?" She struggles to speak.
"They did not trust you." Doctor Fate explains.
"I'm sorry, but we had to be sure." Kid Flash apologizes.
"I can confirm that Zatanna's predictions are true." Doctor Fate speaks out. "There is a curse headed this way, and we cannot escape it."
"So there's absolutely no way to get out of the tower?" Impulse questions.
"I can try to make a portal, hopefully large enough to get most of us out of here. But it will be hard." Zatanna intones.
"I may be able to lend more of power to increase your chances of success." Doctor Fate suggests.
Doctor Fate begins channeling his magic within Zatanna. The young witch then mutters words."Etaerc a latrop fo noitatropsnart!"
Zatanna and the others pause and watch for supernatural action, but nothing happens.
"Why didn't it work?" Kid Flash sighs.
"Transportation magic has been restricted within the tower." Zatanna confesses.
"What?" Impulse gasps.
"How can certain magic can be restricted in a particular area?" Kid Flash shakes his head.
"With enough dark magic and knowledge." Zatanna intones. "It's almost impossible to do anything against the person who wields it."
"Now what!?" Superboy growls. He it ticked off by the fact that he just got to be with Robin and now its all about to be lost.
