"Come on guys think of something for this fucking commercial.." Cory huffed as he ran his hand through his brown hair.
We've been sitting in this class for almost 45 minutes for the past two days and still couldn't think of one single thing. Deshawn is on a 3 day suspension from school for breaking Cory's nose so we won't see him until Monday. Jared just keeps giving stupid ideas usually revolving around dogs or aliens, and well Karen I really don't think I've heard her speak more than one sentence before.
"We should definitely drive a minivan in the video." Jared said slowly as he chuckled to himself. " and we should call it " The Mystery Machine."
Cory leaned forward on his knees and just sighed running his hand yet again threw his hair.
It was quiet for a few moments until I heard Karen mumble something or at least I thought I did.
" Karen did you say something?" I asked as Cory lifted his head up.
She spoke yet again but so quietly I don't even think someone who was a centimeter away from her would hear.
"A love story!" She shouted loudly shocking us all that I almost jumped.
"That's so tacky.." Cory said angrily shutting her idea down instantly.
"We'll do you have any better ideas?" I said getting annoyed. Cory immediately glared at me. If looks could kill I'd be lying on the ground dead.
Karen quickly laid her head down on her desk and placed her book on top of her head as if to hide herself from us.
Corey gave her a questioning look but didn't say anything.
"Lesbians making out drunk.." Jared suggested. Cory gave him a look as if he was the stupidest person on this planet.
"Okay on second thought were going with the love story.." He groaned. " what kind of love story though?" He asked looking at me
"Um idk uh ...the typical one? We can have a girl and boy who are best friends..." I trailed off not knowing what else to say.
"The commercial could show a short version of their relationship and then one of them kills the other because they were drinking and driving." Karen said speaking up. Wow she was on a roll today..
"That's a really good idea Karen." I said as she gave me a smile but then got instantly nervous and picked her book up so it was partially covering her face.
"Yeah that was totally rocking dude." Jared said making Karen blush and giggle.
"Okay so we are able to get the camera today since we have our idea. So when are you guys able to meet up so we can get this stupid thing started?" Cory asked.
" I could do Saturday morning.." I said trailing off as I looked at everyone else.
" Fine with me." Karen said quietly.
" Totally cool." Jared said " oh and I'll tell Deshawn too."
"Okay we'll meet at Riverside park." Cory said right as the bell rang.
We all went up as a group together to Mr. R and Cory quickly told him what we were planning to do for our video. He gave us a curious look and said "I'm very interested to see how this turns out" he handed the camera over to Cory which Cory immediately threw at me. Rude..
