Chapter 7

I headed to where Ashley was and tried to stop the tears from falling as he followed me out to the car park, "May! Please wait!" Andy said as he and Jake came running out.

I turned around again and Ashley stopped and stood next to me "why? Give me a good reason as to why you left without saying goodbye, I went through hell when you left and if it wasn't for Ashley, I wouldn't be here" I said.

Ashley could tell I was about to burst into tears so he put his arm around my shoulder, "I'm sorry May, I don't know why else to do" he said "I don't want to see you again" I said and stormed off.

Ashley looked after me and wiped the tears that began to fall down my face, I reached the car and was still in view of Andy and Jake.

I fell down to the floor and wiped my Tears away as I leaned against the door of the car and sighed.

"I would just leave her alone for now" Ashley said as Jake and Andy looked at him, "yeah I think that would be for the best" Jake said.

"Do you guys have any way to contact May?" Ashley asked and Andy shook his head "no we lost her number and haven't been able to contact her" he said.

Ashley pulled out a piece of paper and wrote something down on it before handing to Andy, "I'll have to go see if she's okay but just try it, you never know" Ashley said as he ran towards His car.

After we arrived back to our house we just decided to watch loads of movies, "did you mean it when you said you wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me?" Ashley asked and I looked at him.

He was sitting on one end of the couch and I was sitting on the other "yeah" I said deciding to sit in a cross legged position and continued "it was true, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here" I said smiling at him.

Me and Ashley were best friends and we did share a house and we both paid half of the rent, "well I'm gonna head to bed, I've got to get up early for work" I said sighing.

Ashley was in a band called Stolen Hearts and they would be having band practice here tomorrow while I was at work.

They had already made some albums and they were really popular and they would be recording their new album soon, I had a job at Hot Topic and I either worked as a cashier or I stocked things up and put more stuff out if there wasn't much left.

I changed into some pyjamas which was basically leggings and a baggy t-shirt and climbed into bed before closing my eyes and going to sleep.

I woke up and threw my hair up in a messy bum before running downstairs when I heard someone knocking on the door, great, they decided to knock when I just woke up and look like a tramp.

I opened the door to see the postman "hiya" I said and he smiled and glanced at me "if your wondering why I look like I've had a fight with a cat  it's because I just woke up" I said and he laughed.

"You look adorable" he mumbled as he handed me a package and went down the path, I closed the door and looked at the package "you look adorable" Ashley said mimicking his voice and laughing.

"Oh shut up" I said shoving him as he reached the last step on the stairs, I placed the package on the table in the kitchen as Ashley walked in behind me.

"Who's the package from?" He asked making making coffee "I don't know" I said opening it to find a bunch of random stuff in the box.

There was an old band t-shirt which was Black Sabbath, a photo frame, old concert tickets and picture that was hand drawn, there was also a letter addressed to me.

I opened it up and it read:

Dear May,
I know your really annoyed at me and Jake but I sent you these as reminders of what we did when we were younger, remember when we went to that Black Sabbath concert? Remember that photo you,me and Jake took together? Remember that picture we all drew on New Year's Day?
Please don't forget us.
We can still recover our friendship because of all these bonds
All our love Andy and Jake x

I put the letter away as Ashley sat down and I felt my phone go off and It was from an unknown number.

We can still recover our friendship, just give it a chance please, give us a chance to explain-Andy x
