Hiro's POV
I woke up early and glance at the clock as it read 7:42. I wonder if Aunt Cass decided to open up the cafe today. I heard some trays banging here and there and the smell of pastries filled the room. Huh. I guess she is opening up. I stood up from my bed and did a small stretch. I look at the divider to see Y/n still asleep. She looked so calm and beautiful when she's sleeping. Wait what? Why did I think that? Don't look in there you weirdo!I blushed at the thought and broke my gaze from that part of the room. I look at my desk to see my acceptance letter. Should I even go? Maybe not. It's too late anyways. I still remembered when Tadashi took me to the lab, where I met my new friends. They sure made the best first impressions. I smiled at the memory then glanced at Megabot.
I remembered the last bot fight I ever went to, with Tadashi. A tear formed in my eye at the memories of all the times he would pick me up from the alleys and scold me right after, telling me to use my big brain of mine for something good. As much as I hated his scolding before, I sure miss it now. I wiped my eyes, trying to be happy for him. He wouldn't want me to be depressed forever.
I went to my desk and picked Megabot up and started walking over to my bed until a piece of it fell on my toe.
"AAAGH!" I dropped my bot and grab my foot in pain, sitting on my bed.
"Oww." Then I heard a series of noises.
Beeping, inflating noises, a bed creaking and, "Hiro? Are you alright?"
I look up to my brother's side of the room to see Y/n walk up to my bed as well as Baymax behind Tadashi's bed. Wait Baymax? I just stared at the nurse bot as he tries to get out of the room. I see Y/n give a worried look at me before turning around, her eyes widening at him too. She took a seat on my bed trying to process what was happening.
"Well that explains the small red case." I heard her mutter.
Baymax finally got out of the divided room, making a small mess in the process and went next to my bed. He raises his hand and makes a small circular wave.
"Hello. I am Baymax. Your personal healthcare companion."
I took a quick glance at Y/n before looking back at Baymax, both of us looking confused.
"Uh hey. Ba-Baymax, I didn't know you were still...active."
"I heard a sound of distress." He tilts his head. "What seems to be the trouble?"
"Oh. I just stub my toe a little. I'm fine." I shrug.
"I may not be a doctor or anything, but hearing the sound of a piece of metal hitting the floor, I think dropping that on your toe isn't stubbing it." Y/n says nonchalantly.
She looks so calm with just seeing a white 6'2' walking marshmallow in the room and yet she teases me with my wording, as if she sees this every day. I gave her a short glare before turning back to him.
Baymax shows 10 faces on his stomach ranging from happy to being in severe pain.
"On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your pain?"
"A zero? I-I'm okay really." I stood up from my bed.
"Thanks. You can shrink now." I hear Y/n give out a small giggle. I hope she doesn't see the faint blush on my face as I try to get Baymax back to his charging station but he still insists to help me.
"Does it hurt when I touch it?" He walks closer to me and I keep walking back, not knowing where I'll end up.
"Hehe uh... That's ok. No touching. N-AAUUGH!"
