namjoon came down the stairs, not seeing his father, just somi in the kitchen.
"where's my dad?"
"he went to work. he asked me if i would stay here with you, so i said yes."
"i don't need a babysitter," he grumbled, rolling his eyes.
"i'm not your babysitter, namjoon. i just wanted to spend more time with you and get to know you, darling." she placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed it gently.
"okay," he whispered, watching as her eyes flickered down to his lips.
