Chapter Seventeen

Jeon Jung Kook POV

"I love Taehyung!," I said without hesitation.

The members stared at me as a shocking gasp escaped from their mouths. Then they bursted into laughter as they leaned on each other for support.

"Why are you laughing?," I questioned feeling a bit offended about them laughing at my confession.

"You...Taehyung's kisses have brain-washed you. I promise I can make you feel better than him!," Namjoon said with a grin.

I contorted my face at that remark.

"Just because Taehyung's your first kiss, doesn't means that you love him...," Hoseok murmured.

I gritted my teeth.

"Let's say Taehyung's your first, but I assure you I'll be your last!," Yoongi said with a smile.

I frowned. "Why are you guys being so petty? I told you I love Taehyung!"

The members just smiled.

"We know that you belong to Taehyung; but we still love you!," Hoseok said.

The members nodded in agreement.

"One day, I'm gonna sweep you off your feet and make you fall for me!," Seokjin said dramatically as he pointed out to himself.

The members disagreed with that.

I just chuckled slightly. They don't take me and neither my confession seriously at all.

"Jungkook, where are you?!," Mr. Lee shouted loudly as he barged into the living room. When he saw me there, he rushed over to me with a smile.

"You know there's a thing called knocking...," Namjoon complained.

Mr. Lee ignored him. "Jungkook, come on. The CEO wants to speak to you."

"Um...sure...," I hesitated.

Mr. Lee walked out the dorm room, while I followed behind silently.

"What did you say?!," I gasped.

"I said you're the new member of BTS. You deserve it more than Junghyun!," the CEO informed.

I blinked. "But what about Junghyun?"

"He didn't want to be an idol, so he left; but he did want the best for you - BTS!," the CEO spoke with a smile. Mr. Lee who stood beside him, smiled as well.

"Are you telling me that - ?"

"Yes. Your brother resigned from the position ONLY for you!," came the quick respond.

Jeon Jung Hyun POV

I packed my suitcase and left the house after saying goodbye to my parents; whom I had begged to let me go and travel the world.

The bus arrived just in time to take me to my destination, the Seoul International Airport where I would be boarding the flight to San Francisco.

As I stared out the window, I felt my cell phone buzz against my skin. I took it out from my pants pocket and glanced at it. My brother's name flashed on the screen.

"Hey, Kookie!"

"Junghyun, why did you do that?! I thought you were only joking! Why did you leave BTS?!"
