Chapter 7: Its the end or is it?

Embers P.O.V

We ran out of the stadium as fast as we could. When we got to the bridge the wither deiced that it was too good for doors and went through the roof...Well he's rude, anyways as soon as we got off the bridge there was beams everywhere. "Guys! Help! I'm up here!" I looked up and saw Jesse on a piece of the bridge that got caught in the beams.

 I ran back towards her and looked around to see if I could use anything to get her. There was nothing that I could use, so I deiced to jump up on to the use to be piece of the bridge. As soon as I did I started to float up too, I grabbed on to the piece of the bridge as well.

 "Jesse! Grab my hand!" She nod and came closer to me and grab my other hand that was not holding on to the bridge. The second she grabbed my hand I was able to throw her behind me and hopefully off the bridge too. As soon as I did I felt her grab my foot, I let go and we both fell back on to the bridge.( A/N I don't know if that would actually work but lets just say it dose and move on) We got up as soon and started running. 

"Thanks." "No problem, What are friends for?" "Wait we're friends?" "Yeah duh, of course we are- Chicken's." "What?" She ask as I jump over the chickens, but Jess lets just say she is now one of them. I stop at the central main area to wait for Jesse to caught up. "Jesse!Em!" I looked around and saw Petra calling us. We ran towards her and the others, under the canopy. 

I was about to ask where Gabriel was, when a beam hit the top part of the canopy and started to tear it apart. Everyone started to run away except me, Jesse, and Petra. Where is Pet any way? I turned around to start look for her... Well I didn't didn't have to look far. She was trapped in the beam. I ran towards her, jump up and grabbed her hand. I was about to pull her down yes! Success...Until I step into the beam as well. Dang it! I was so close too!

 "Jesse!" Pet called out to Jesse she turned around, and ran towards us. She grabbed my foot, and hang on to something. I'm not sure what though. What? You think I can turn my head 180 degrees in order to see what shes doing? What am I? A owl? Anyways both Jess and Pet started yelling their heads of like their chickens. Mine guess is what everything Jess was holding on to is now starting to break.

 I looked around to see what we can use to get down. I couldn't find anything when I heard a grunt and all of us stop moving upward. The beam disappeared and we all fell to the ground. I got up and saw Gabriel was here. At least it wasn't a creeper...At least I think thats better right?

"Do we still have everyone?" Jess ask Olivia nodded yes. "We must set out for my fortress-We'll be better protected there." Gabriel said as he ran off. We all followed him. "Thanks for that just now." Pet said. "Yeah, well now we're even-" "Incoming!" Pet yelled and push me and Jess to the ground. We got back up and ran to the gate.

Time skip Because I don't want to write all of that chase down what would I even do in that scene anyway? 

Still in Embers P.O.V

Me and the others were waiting  as Jess and Gabriel come down the stairs. Gabriel ran by us to the levers on the wall. "This place is made internally made of Obsidian, we should be untouchable in their." We heard a noise we turn around and saw one of the tentacles got in. 

"Guys! Lets get moving!" I yelled, everyone turned around and ran into the room. "Hurry! If you can get through the portal you'll be safe!" We ran towards the portal, but there was one problem... It wasn't activated. "Its not lit!" Olivia said.

 "No really? What gave it away?"

 "Now is not the time Em!" Pet yelled.

"Guys stand back!" Jess said, she walked up to the portal and lit it. "Everyone get in! Now!" Pet yelled aging.

Jeez whats up with Pet and yelling today? She really needs to stop of she'll lose her voice. Like last week with that creeper and- Ember! Stay focused! The end of the world is happening, and all you can think about Pet losing her voice!?!?!?!?! Thats the least of our problems right now!!!!! I snapped out of it to see Axel and Olivia going through. "Aaaaaaah!" I turned around and saw the Wither had got Gabriel!

 "Gabriel!!" Me and Jess yelled.

 We ran towards him. We're half way there when two tentacles drop through the ceiling. Jess jumped over them while I was fighting them off with Petra's help. 

"Well this is fun." 

"Em! Right now is not the time for sarcasm!"

"Oh come on! This is just like the time in the big city!"

"You and I remember the city very differently!"

While we continue fighting, I heard Gabriel say "Soren has been missing for years, but the others you can seek them out." !...No...He can't mean...Seriously? Get everyone back together? No...It wont work! They'll be a mess if we get them back together! Just like last time!...Well at least they were around me...Maybe they be different at least I wont drag them down....Oh now it hits me in the face!!! OK enough of that! Time to focus on the problem at hand. Starting with destroying this tentacle!
