pt. 1

I walk into the commons at lunch, searching for my friends. I spot Makenzie and Rachel over at one of the back tables. Soon we're joined by Katie.

Short introductions:

Makenzie is my best friend (well, besides Niall of course). She loves cats and bucket hats. Very witty, really likes dad jokes. Has been there for me since the second grade. P.S. she has a crush on Harry.

Rachel is like that image of freaking perfection. Great at volleyball, basketball, and track. She's in choir with me too. She used to dance and do gymnastics. She's super pretty and really really sweet. P.S. she's dating Liam.

Katie is.... Well, she's a character. She smokes weed and goes to raves but she would never pressure anyone who isn't about that life to do it, too. That's what makes her and Louis such good friends. Also, hella funny. She's the person who's snapchats are all just videos zooming in on people.

"Hey, where are the boys?" Mak asks us.

"Right there." Rachel points over where the boys are just walking into the commons.

The boys all come and sit down and we greet them. Niall sits right next to me and I rest my head on his shoulder. "Rough day?" He asks.

"Yes, ugh. Mr. Rodriguez really gets on my nerves." I frown.

"Only a couple more months, though, and we're out for good." He grins.

"Oh, thank goodness." I sigh.

"Hey, Mace, are you going to Josh's party tonight?" Katie asks me.

"I wasn't planning on it." I say. Everyone groans. "Were you guys planning on going?"

"Yeah, we all were." Harry says. "You just ruined it." He teases, but I know he actually wants me to come.

"Please come. I don't wanna seventh wheel." Niall whispers in my ear, sending a shiver down my spine.

"Fine." I groan. I can't resist Niall.

"Yay!" Everyone cheers and Niall kisses my cheek.

A little while later Marcus comes up to our table. Marcus has always been a pretty good friend of mine, he's really nice. "Hey, Macy, um, are you planning on going to Josh's party?"

"Yeah, we were actually just talking about that." I smile at him.

"Oh, cool, maybe I'll see you there." He responds.

"Yeah, that'd be cool, I'll see you later." I wave as he walks away.

Niall looks at me, "You better not ditch me at this party."

"Don't even worry about it, Ni." I reassure him.

We all meet up outside the party and I must admit, my outfit is a little less than modest. I'm wearing jean short shorts and a black crop top, red flannel around my waist. Even though I wasn't originally planning on coming, I'm actually pretty excited to hang out with Niall. I know we see each other everyday but, you know.

My smile and confidence falters as we arrive and I see Niall with a girl on his arm. "Oh hey, girls." Niall greets us, "This is Liz. Liz this is Makayla and my best friend Macy."
