She's awake...

Riley pov:

I'm currently in the hospital bed waiting for my breakfast.The anesthetic has worn off so they are putting some in a drip for me.They cleaned out my womb and sadly my baby was taken out.I have to stay in for 2 weeks because of the complications I had.James has been so worried and they forced him to go home.It wasn't good for him as he drifted in and out of sleep on the arms chair in my room.He wanted to be awake if there was any news or anything wrong,Bless him.

James pov:

I'm at home as the hospital forced me to.I'm so glad the cleaning went well and that riley is ok.She texted me saying the anesthetic has worn off and she is waiting for her breakfast tray .I phoned in and asked if they can put a flower on her tray with a note from me,saying I love her and get well soon.I just want her to come home soon.

                                                         🔹2 weeks later🔹

Riley pov : 

I'm ready to go.My nurse helped me pack my bags.She's been sp good,she has helped me every step of the way and im so happy she was my assigned nurse.My antibiotics have been tough to take but I'm so happy I completed them because they have made me feel so much better.The nurse said my skin is glowing and I look bright and healthy.James brought me a balloon as a congratulations for completing my course of antibiotics and for being so brave.

Miss kate pov :

A troupe have set up a party for Riley to cheer her up.It must have been so hard on her.She deserves a treat ,my get it done girl.It's kind of like the the one we did for amanda after the exchange program for internationals when she returned from Sweden. We have made everything easy to reach as we have been told Riley needs to be in a wheelchair for a week or so as she needs to rest and not be busy so she is completely better.We have made everything extra special and james made a cake! (Although we are a little worried to eat it !)She is coming in about an hour so stephanie and michelle are setting up the food table and eldon and west are setting up the decorations,as to be honest the boys can't be trusted with food!

Riley pov : 

James is helping me into the wheelchair as they want me to rest myself and not waste my energy.It will also help me scar on my stomach heel better.My legs are also a little wobbly so I don't feel like walking.James has his car so is going to take me home.He bought me in an outfit to wear,which was a dress that didn't look like casual wear to be going home in.He is now driving me home and I suddenly realise that we are going a different route,it looks like we are heading towards the studio.I'm a little confused because the studio isn't open yet,it's 9:00am.Then james pulls over and pulls me into embrace.He looks me straight into the eyes and says "Riley,I am so proud of you.Your beautiful and kind and thoughtful and you've done so well.Your bravery inspired me and you deserve something special"

He handed me a box wrapped in ribbon.I opened it and it had a stunning bracelet on it.Engraved on it was 'amazing star'.It was rose gold and shimmered in the light.It looked expensive.Then I turned it over and inside it said baby bean,as the nurse said it was only the size of a baked bean.This way the baby will always be with us even though it is now in heaven.I'm so touched I can't believe how lucky I am.

"I have one more surprise for you."James said mysteriously.I can't wait to find out what it is,knowing james,I'm sure I won't be disappointed...

James pov:

I lift Riley out,bridal style,and lower her into her wheelchair.I lock the car and wheel the chair over to the lift.As we go up riley asks me "soooo, what's the surprise?"

"It's not a surprise if I tell you now is it?"I giggle.

We continue up the lift untill we reach the next step studio.I wheel riley out and put a blindfold on her.She asks why but I tell her she just needs to wait and see.

Miss kate pov : 

James just texted saying Riley and him are outside the door and I quiet everyone .He wheels her in with a blindfold on.I mouth 3,2,1 and we all shout surprise as Riley rips off the blindfold."congratulation Ri you deserve this,this is all for you!"

Riley started crying of happiness.She is such an incredible girl.She is a credit to our studio and so is james.I'm so so proud of the young adults they have become.

James pov : 

Riley is crying over my shoulder of happiness.I show her the cake with the words amazing  star,like on her bracelet,and she has a wide grin on her face.This party is the perfect way to say goodbye to our baby and to celebrate family and friendship.I wheel riley onto the dance floor and slow dance with her with my knees bent to our song we go.Riley isn't meant to but I gently lifted her up enough to stand and she lent onto me as a support.We gently dance and I pull her in untill our lips touch.Then all of a-troupe start crowding round us into a big hug.Even though our baby is gone it will always be with us in our hearts.Our a-troupe family is so precious to me and Riley and we couldn't be happier...
