"Well, that was interesting!"Plagg said. Adrien leaned against the bathroom stall door, trying to catch his breath. He couldn't believe what had just happened.

1) Marinette had been worried about him. 2) Marinette risked her life for him. 3) He kissed Marinette on the cheek out of instinct. 4) Kissing Marinette felt right. 5) Marinette and Ladybug are friends. 6) Marinette had disobeyed him. 7) Marinette had almost died right before his eyes.

"Hey, earth to Adrien!"

"Sorry, Plagg, but I just..."

"Saw the love of your life almost die in front of you? Yeah, seeing that kind of thing scares the heck out of people," Plagg said before munching on a piece of cheese.

Adrien blushed red.

"I don't like Marinette like that!"

Plagg rolled his eyes.

"Sure. Just tell me something. If you don't like Marinette, why did you carry her to the nurse's office, cover her with a blanket when she got cold, got jealous of the thought of Nathaniel's scent around her room, checked up on her when you realized how serious her condition was, immediately called Natalie to purposely invade her privacy to see if her parents were abusing her, watched her sleep and checked her face for scars, smashed a vine with a fire extinguisher and told it 'Hands off!' like she was yours, ordered the nurse to knock her out if she tried to escape, held an akumatizied victim by the throat because they threatened to hurt her, threatened to kill them when they insulted her, used Cataclysm to try and save her, kissed her cheek to tell her not to be afraid of you when you saw that look on her face when she explained how she knew Tikki, and now you are traumatized knowing that you could have lost her?"

Adrien gaped at Plagg. He seriously remembered all of that. What? Was he on the lookout for moments between him and Marinette?(Go Adrienette!)Plagg raised an eyebrow.

"Well?"

"I would do that for any other friend,"Adrien stated. Plagg wasn't convinced, but than again, Adrien was actually trying to convince himself.

"I highly doubt you would do the same for Chloe."

Adrien gagged at the thought. Plagg laughed at his reaction knowing he was right. Frustrated, Adrien grabbed Plagg and pushed him into his shirt. He exited the bathroom stall and went in search of Marinette. She was looking for him anyway.
