Chapter 30: Grand Reunion

Gracie POV
When I heard and saw him, I instantly pounced out of my seat and hugged him with all my might. AJ was now taller and was wearing glasses,

(I know this is a reuse, but deal with it!)
But thing different was on the arm he got shot with, was all perfect. I let go of him and let him sit next to me on the piano bench. "My gosh, you have no idea how many questions I have to ask you," I told him, "Okay then, shoot," he surprisingly said.
"Alright then,
One, HOW THE F*CK ARE YOU ALIVE?!?!?
Two, what about Mom and Dad?
Three, HOW ARE YOU HERE!?!?
Four, how are you not hurt? At all...
Five, do you have a girlfriend yet AJ?😂?"

"Alright, I guess we can go in order. First, Tan only shot me in my arm, not my heart. Second, Mom and Dad are dead, they just got shot in the chest unlike me. Third, I work at DCI. Fourth, DCI had a healer machine so they patched me all up. And finally, no..."
"Okay, wait, what?! You work here?! In frickin DCI?! FOR LONGER THAN ME??!?!? HOW DARE YOU NOT TELLING ME SOONER?!?!?" I said almost going to fall out of my seat. " Well then what's the point of a secret agency if I tell you?"

"True..."

"So Gracie," AJ asked me. "how have you been after all these years?"

"Well umm..." I then started to tell him how I moved in with the three idiots and my career. "Wow! You definitely have been more successful than me."

"You're kidding me right right? I mean being in a video game is more successful  enough!" I praised. He just chuckled at this and explained to me that being here for more than a year is just plain old normal. But then I felt the mood in the room die down a bit. "So Gracie, I saw what happened back at Tan's base," as soon as he said that flashbacks flooded my mind. "And I'm so sorry."

"It's okay, you had no control over any of this..." I said about to tear up again. He scooted over to give me a side hug. "To make you feel better, I'm not mad at you for having a relationship before me." I slightly giggled at this and gave a sad smile. "Yeah, but when you get a girlfriend, at least your relationship would last for more than two weeks."

"Hahaha, very funny," he said very sarcastic. He then got out of his seat to lend me a hand.I was very confused by his action. "Here, I have a surprise you might like back at the main room." He further extended his hand like he was waiting for me to take it. "Umm, okay..." I said while grabbing his hand. He then just helped me up and let go. "Follow me," he instructed. I just nodded my head as I swept my few tears away. I followed him to the elevator at our penthouse down to the main level. During the elevator ride was me asking him about the surprise, and him simply replying, "no." Yup, same old brother. 

After a while I saw a scanner detect us. After the scan, it said both of our full names and granted us access. Then the elevator doors open to the sound of music and a ring of people cheering.

Hey guys! So sorry for the late update, long story short, school. But luckily I'm gonna be done in about two weeks! So yay! So I have received some confusion from a certain person, you know who you are, about AJ. And to answer this, AJ is Gracie's older brother being 23 years old.So yeah.
