The one with a blue helmet was trying to be nice "Your friends are fine. I thought you might like to know that. We shot them with a tranquilizer guns. No damage justs knocks out threats before they can become threats." A low growl from Zoey made her stop talking but she quickly started talking again "Not that you're threats it's just that it's better for everyone if we help you besides my boss is looking forwards to meeting all of you. I even took down the video before a ton of people saw it." 'Don't trust them Ace we are in cages because of them.' Zoey snarled over the mindlink 'She is trying to be nice because they think they are helping us.' I tell her I want them to be but I also really didn't want to deal with them or this. 'Really Ace friends don't kidnap each other other-' Zoey starts to say say before I interrupt her 'That's because only good friends kidnap each other.'
'Your idea of friends must be more like crazy stalkers.'
'Hey!' Miko says 'I'm not a stalker and I never said anything about kidnapping people.'
'Stop arguing we should be figuring out how to escape.' Jasmine's voice made me jump I hadn't realized she had woken up but with a quick glance I saw everyone else was awake too. Jasmine and Bailey had already shifted but Alex and Tucker could not shift in the van. 'I have an idea  but not everyone is going to escape we only need one of us to get out and get help.' I say 'What are you thinking of doing?' Bailey asks 'I'm thinking we distract the guard and then Alex can open the door and shift as he jumps out.' I explain 'Tucker should go with him.' Miko says 'Okay this should work the van is not going that fast.' Alex says as he carefully unlocks the cage and Tucker follows him. They move closer to the door and Tucker pushes the lock open right as I slam into the door of cage. Tucker opens the door and jumps out followed by Alex who shifts and kicks the door. The crunch of metal followed by the slam of a door is almost drowned out by the chaotic sounds of angry animals and metal on metal as the cages slam into each other and the floor. I get a glimpse of Tucker the polar bear and Alex the zebra deer running away before everything gets too crazy. The van had been going slow, definitely slow enough for two people-animal-shifter things to jump out of and be able to run away but now it was out of control because Bailey was sitting on the gas petal. All the cages were a mess and broken enough for us to wiggle out of and cause more mayhem. I was worried about the door opening again but the first thing guard had done when everything went crazy was grab the door, as it tried to close from the force of Alex's kick, and lock it. Of course there was a problem with my plan I had considered how much space was needed for four animals to rampage properly as three people tried to catch them and the fourth struggled to keep the van under control because a red panda was sitting on the gas petal. 'Now this is the most insane thing I've ever done!' I shout over the mindlink as I struggled to not get caught. Zoey only laughs before she goes rigid and falls over. 'Stupid tranquilizer darts.' I snarl over the mindlink knowing she was just unconscious didn't keep me from checking to see if she was okay. That was a mistake, I was grabbed by an agent in a black helmet who shoved a muzzle on me before doing the same to Jasmine. Before I could do anything to stop it Bailey and Miko were shoved into the least damaged caged and held by an angry looking agent who had lost his helmet in the chaos. Blue helmet was busy making sure Zoey was restrained before she could wake up. The fire guy wasted no time in getting the van to the speed limit and under control but it wasn't long before we got to where they had been headed, what I assumed would be their secret base. When blue opened the door the first thing I saw was an open grass field, then I saw more people one woman and three guys. Once blue opened the doors wide enough for me to get past her I ran trying to get out but I hadn't realized not only was there a muzzle on me but a collar and leash which choked me as I fell out the van. I panicked and pulled harder which only choked me more. The agent must have realized that if she didn't let go of the leash I would choke myself even more so she let go. I dropped to the ground no longer half hanging out the van greedily sucking in as much air as possible with a muzzle on when the events of today hit me and I realized how much danger my friends and myself were in and in that moment all I wanted was to go to sleep and pretend none of this was happening. There was a pounding in my head as I sunk to the ground and a burning pain in my shoulder blades that made all my sore muscles and aching lungs seem like nothing. Everything was fading to a smoothing black which I gratefully accepted welcoming the escape from the pain and everything that didn't make sense
