The door slammed behind Natsu, as he rushed after the girl with golden hair. Eventually disappearing from Wendy's view. She had seen him, run after her when Lucy left the guild, she had seen him run after her as enemies carried her away, she had seen him run towards her when she was sad, she had seen him run after her when she went to the bathroom that morning. Hell, she had even seen him sneak into her hotel room just then. Even if she was a child, Wendy wasn't stupid. She knew what was going on. But doubt shadowed every thought in her mind, 'what could they really be doing in there, right now?' she thought, but each each idea that popped into her mind seemed highly unlikely. They were partners, friends, teammates, and guild mates, and had always been. Just then a thought came into her mind. 'Could Natsu-san... actually have a crush on Lucy-san?!' that thought actually seemed plausible. She blushed at the thought. "Oh well..." she muttered. "Try your best, Natsu-san!" And with that, she left her hiding place, behind the corner.
