[Sophiya's P.O.V]
The day felt very long. I kept avoiding Abdullah, and Carly didn't ask me why because she thought I wanted them both to be alone.
When I reached home, the first thing I saw was my phone flashing. It was a text.
I unlocked my phone and saw the message was from Carly.
Carly: Reached home?
Me: Just now.
Carly: Okay.
I was really curious about knowing what happened between Abdullah and Carly so I decided to extend the conversation.
Me: So?
Carly: So what?
Me: Did you ask him out?
And there it went; message sent. After sending that message, I regretted it immediatly.
The phone flashed again. It must be a reply from Carly. What if it is about her telling me that Abdullah said yes? I was really confused. I wasn't ready to see her reply of telling me Abdullah said yes to her. But why wasn't I happy for her? I mean she's my best friend and she's been supporting me in all of my ups and downs.
I decided to be strong and I unlocked my phone but there was a message from an unknown number instead of Carly.
I wondered who it was.
I opened the message.
Unknown: Hello =)
Me: Who's this?
Unknown: Sophiya?
Me: Yes?
Unknown: Hey, it's Abdullah!
My heart skipped a beat and butterflies attacked my stomach. Since when was I getting those butterflies? Oh my God, what's happening with me??
Me: Oh, I'll just save your number
Unknown: Okay.
It took me two minutes saving Abdullah's number in my cell.
My phone flashed again.
This time, it was Carly.
Carly: Sorry I was late, was taking shower.... and yup I did ask him out.
Me: What was his reaction?
I asked nervously.
Carly: He wants to think.
Me: okay, I have to go.
I lied and texted Abdullah.
Me: Carly asked you out?
Abdullah: yes?
Me: So?
Abdullah: So what?
"YOUR ANSWER!" I yelled but then I realized he wasn't really with me so instead I texted him.
Me: Your answer?
