*Next Day*
[Sophiya's P.O.V]
It wasn't a bright sunny day today. Instead, there were dark clouds in the sky. It sure will be raining tonight.
I entered the college with this thought in my mind, when I slammed into someone.
"Ow!" I screamed in pain.
I lifted my gaze to see the person I bumped into and it was Veronica.
"Don't you have eyes?" She said rudely.
I tried to ignore her because I didn't want to spoil my mood this early in the morning but I didn't succeed.
"Where are you going? Are you deaf? I am talking to you!" She asked.
Uggh! I can't stand this girl!
"I am not deaf! Can't you see I ignore lame people!" I said that and turned away.
Veronica was left speechles at my back.
I was now looking for Abdullah. I was really curious about knowing his feelings for Carly.
Suddenly I felt a tall figure passing by my side. I could smell the sweet frangnance coming from that person.
I turned around and found out that it was Abdullah and my heart stopped beating for a second.
A cool breeze blew by brushing my hair over my face and Abdullah stepped closer to me, pushing my hair at the back of my ear.
I could feel his soft hands making contact with my skin, shooting sparks through my body.
"Hi" He said, trying to break the silence.
"He-ey" I stuttered.
"Are you okay?" He asked me; obviously he must have noticed that I was being nervous while talking to him.
I wanted to answer him that, 'Ofcourse I am not okay because everytime I see you, butterflies- which were turning into eagles day by day- attack me and I can't even utter a single word correctly when you're around'. But instead I said, "Yes, I am okay."
He only nodded.
"So what was your answer?" I asked Abdullah.
"What answer?" He said.
"Your answer to Carly. She asked you out, right?"
"Oh"
"Oh? That's all you can say?" I was now kind of yelling.
"Sophiya?" Abdullah asked, I think he was checking if I am normal.
"Stop denying the fact that you don't want to talk about it" I said.
"Okay, fine you got me" Abdullah said, "I don't want to date Carly, okay?"
"Really?" I asked. I felt relieved. I don't know why, but I just did. I was being selfish here. Carly was my best friend and her crush rejected her, why was I happy?
'Because you like him as well, stupid!' My inner voice said but I ignored it.
"Yes, she is a good friend but I don't feel the same way about her that she does for me, Sophiya" He said my name. My name being called by him was the best thing in this world. My name sounded so perfect coming from his mouth.
Focus Sophiya!
"Okay" That was the only thing I could say right now.
"I hope this won't ruin our friendship" He said.
"Sure, it won't"
"I have to go," Abdullah said.
"Okay," I said, waving Abdullah goodbye.
"Hey!" A squeeky voice came from my back. I recognized the voice; it was my carzy best friend, Carly.
"Hi Carly!" I greeted her with the same excitement in my voice but when I remembered the rejection, my tone turned into a sad one.
"What happened?" Carly asked, with a concerned look as soon as she recognized the change of tone in my voice.
"I am sorry Carly-" I trailed off.
"Why?" She was now more curious.
"Abdullah-" I tried to say but I couldn't find the right words.
"He doesn't like me, does he?" Carly said. I could see a tear roll down her cheek.
"Don't cry" I said patting her back.
Carly wiped her tears and said, "I won't"
"Good"

A little secret to share with you guyz, I wasn't thinking about Abdullah writing this Chap, instead I was thinking about someone else..
