It was one of those nights
When the moon shined bright
And the rain crashed with all its might.
I was lying on the ground
With radio playing in the background
And I hear your whisper's sound.
And now the lights go out
You looked so pretty there was no doubt
Then the radio played our song
And we start to dance along.
One hand on your waist
And another to hold to you in embrace
And I love you is all I can say.
Your face never looked so fine
I could kiss your lips a thousand times
Wish we had more than one lifetime
And I love you is all I can say
Your face lays to rest on my shoulder
And the rain starts to fall slower
And I hold you closer
And I wish this moment never gets over
And I love you is all I can say
Slowly the rain starts fading away
And so do your eyes that shined
Your hands disappear from mine
And I am left standing there
With a tear in my eye
And a pain I can't bear.
It was one of those nights
That I have felt many times
And your loss never fades away.
