Athena's POV:
"I'll pick you up later, okay? I love you, buddy." I said and kiss him on his cheek.
"Yes, sis. I love you too." He kiss me too one last time before turning around and running inside his school.
I started to walk down the street again to my school. I need to hurry if I didn't want to be late for my first day in my new school.
Sighing to myself as I think about what would be our lives will be in here, I didn't even realize that I'm already in front of my school.
I can feel everyone's gaze and hear whispers through the air. It probably about me. The new student.
Ugh. I really hate being the center of attention. It only made me want to run away and never comes back.
Shaking my head, I started to walk inside while I lowered my head and not meet their heated stares.
Being the new student, is very difficult for me. Since I don't know anyone here and I have no friends. Well, I really don't care if I know no one and I don't have any friends. That's what my plan is, anyway.
I look around the hallway were I'm walking when I suddenly bump into a wall.
Ow. That hurts. My bum connected with the hard floor as my things fly in every directions.
"Idiot." I heard someone said. My head instantly snap up to look at who ever said that.
He is very tall with a chocolate brown hair and eyes. Well, when you look at him you can say that... he's quite a charmer. He really is a handsome guy.
"Staring is rude, you know?" He said while raising one if his eyebrows.
Tsk. Nevermind him being handsome. It's just a waste if your attitude is crooked like his.
"Are you deaf? I said get out of my way." He said like his threatening me.
I look at his eyes and I see anger in it. His eyes makes me remember him. He has the same hatred and anger in his eyes.
I really don't know what I've done wrong to him. I can feel my whole body shaking and my eyes with tears that are threatening to fall.
This is the first time I ever felt this way again, after 3 months.
I didn't even realize that someone had kneeled down to look at me until he speaks.
"Hey, miss. Miss.. Miss." I look up to him. He is not the one I bump into earlier. He is tall too but he has dirty blond hair and hazel eyes.
I slowly calmed myself and even my breathing. I look around being aware if the guy earlier is still here.
Even just thinking about him makes my body rigid and in high alert.
"Hey, miss. Are you alright?" The guy in front of me asked as he try to gain my attention for I don't know how many times now.
I look at him. "I-I.." I can't form any words. I feel pathetic of myself. I let myself feel that way again just beacause of someone having the same eyes like him.
"Hey, can you stand up?" I just shook my head at him, my mind still not working at all.
He slowly help me stand up and when I'm finally can steady myself, he let go of me and pick up my things on the ground.
Shaking the thoughts inside my head, I finally manage to process what was happening.
My cheeks burn red as I realize what an idiot I am. Ugh. That guy's correct. I really am an idiot.
I instantly palmed face with my hands, earning a chuckle from the guy who was with me for a while now.
That only made me redder than before. I look down at floor, feeling embarassed.
"I uh.. thank you for.. ahm.. your help." I said, still looking down.
"Welcome. Anyway, here are your things." I sighed and finally look at him before getting my things.
"I'm Lance and you are...." He trailed of as he stretch his hand for me.
I grab his hand, shaking it. "Athena." I simply said and gently pull my hands from his.
"Nice name. It suits a beautiful lady like you." What he said just make me blush again.
Oh gosh. Why do I need to be such a blusher?
"You don't do much in compliments huh, shortcake?" What he called me make me snap my head up at him.
God. Why do they grow so tall?? I feel like a small child when beside this giants.
"I'm not that short." I said and pouted my lips to him.
He laugh at me a little and pinch my nose. "Ow. That hurts." I said and push his hand away.
"Sorry. I just can't help it. You're too cute and I feel like pinching your nose." He said while making an innocent face.
I sighed. Then after sometime I realize something. My eyes went wide and my mouth hangs open.
This is the first time I ever interact with other people even though it's not needed. And he even freaking pinch my nose!
"Athena?" I came back to reality as he tap my shoulder lightly. I look at him.
"Thank you for helping me, Lance. And... I want to repay you for your kindness." I said and smiled at him.
He just shook his head no. "You don't have too. It's fine." He said and returned the smile.
Silence took over us but it's not something akward or what. I feel comfortable actually around him and I don't know why even though it is the first time I met him.
After sometime, he cleared his throath making me look at him.
"Well, I'm going now." I nodded at him. "See you around, shortcake." He said and wave at me before disappearing in the hallway.
Shaking my head, I started to walk again to the office to get my schedule and locker number and key.

A/N: Well guys, how's my first chapter?? I know it's quite uneventful and.... boring, right? And I'm sorry for that. It's my first time writing a story so I need more practice. I hope you enjoy my next chapters.
