Emily's POV

My head ached like hell. The hard, cold stone floor slapped up against my cheek.

Where am I? Where is this place?

The whole place was in pitch darkness. I couldn't even see my hand in front of me. My chest heaved rapidly with heavy panting as everything flooded back into mind.

Was I kidnapped? Oh my god. I was. Who did this?

As if someone was listening to my thoughts, they answered

Welcome Emily. I brought you here.

'Who are you? Where are you?!' I screamed.

I'm everywhere, the voice boomed across the room. The voice wasn't like human at all. It was as if it came from a speaker. It was shrill but rather frightening.

'Let me go!' I demanded.

No one replied.

'Hello?!?' I screamed.

Skylar's POV

'I cannot stay here anymore I gotta go. I gotta get away from all of this.'

I had packed a bag full of my clothes and as I walked out of my room I tool the cash I had saved up for college tuition. I wasn't much, but I guessed it'll get tme through for a month or until this thing ends.

I tiptoed down the steps as I heard voices in the living room. Mom's friends were still over.

I crept away from the living room and exited out through the back door.

The night was cold and dark clouds had huddled overhead.

I made myself away from the house, avoiding the street lamps, and ducking in and out of a vehicles head lights. I simply had no where I was heading, but I just had to get out of here.

'Radley! That's the abandoned place I've heard mom talk about. I'll head there'

As I crossed the road, a van came from the junction a head and almost hit me before it swerved away from me. The driver was wearing a black hoodie that covered his face.

'Look where you are going!' I screamed.

But the driver didn't stop. He kept on making his way straight ahead, towards Rosewood.

A sudden thought crept into my mind,

Am I doing the right thing? Should I have left home?

*fast forward*

The building loomed up in front of me. My had told me it had been abandoned for years now.
