"Hey Jason." Sprawled on the couch watching TV was Jason.

Annabeth and I walked into my apartment. Her stormy grey eyes moved around quickly, taking in the scenery of my apartment. She had a cute little scrunched up face like she was wondering if this was a good idea.

Gods, she was gorgeous.

"Hey Pers." Jason said without looking my way.

I cleared my throat.

"So Jason," I started. "This is Annabeth."

"Who now?" Jason said while straining his head to look over his shoulder.

"She's my-"

"I'm his co-worker." Annabeth said.

Jason tried to raised his left-eyebrow, and failed. "Welcome, Annabeth." He smirked. "Just don't mess around tonight and make noise. I need a restful sleep tonight, mind you."

"Jason!" My face flushed and my mouth hung open. I jumped on him and rubbed my fist in his hair while holding his head with my other forearm.

"Okay okay!" He grinned from ear to ear. "I'm sorry I'm sorry!"

"Fine." I let go of him. "I'm watching you, Grace."

He rolled his eyes before winking at me and turning back around. I motioned for Annabeth to follow me.  I brought her to the spare bedroom.

"It's pretty small, but it should be okay for one night." I said while scratching the back of my neck.

Annabeth smiled. "It's okay Percy. I'll be able to fall asleep tonight." She sat on the bed and looked at me with the corner of her eye for a few seconds.

I jerked. "Oh! Sorry.. I'll leave now." I said. I walked to the bedroom door.

"Hey Percy?" I looked at her and noticed her fidgeting with her shirts' sleeves. "Thanks for this." She smiled at me and her eyes glinted. Her curly blond hair fell in front of her face in a cute way.

Gods of Olympus.

"Uh- spuh-bluh" I sputtered.

She got up and frowned. "Goodbye, Seaweed brain." She pushed me out of the room and closed the door behind her.

"Uh- G'night Annie!" I yelled through the door.

In the morning......

I stretched my legs so they reached the ends of my bed. Ugh. I hate mornings. I sat on the edge of my bed and smacked my lips. Double ugh. Morning breath.

"Hey Pers!" Jason knocked on my door. "Annabeth is leaving in 5 minutes!"

I rubbed my eyes, still dazed. Wait- 5 minutes? Oh gods.

I shot from my bed and ran out of the room. Annabeth was shaking Jason's hand and opened the door.

"Wait- Annabeth!" I ran to the hallway.

They stopped talking and looked at me. Annabeth's eyes widened. Jason snorted and started to laugh.

"What?" I looked down at what Annabeth was looking at.

Oh shit.

All I was wearing was my fish-printed boxers and a pair of grey socks. I quickly covered my-self with my hands and walked back-wards slowly.

Jason bent over laughing and I smiled awkwardly before jotting back into my room and shutting the door.

I walked to my dresser and put on a T-shirt and a blue sweater on top. Then I put on blue jeans and combed my hair with my fingers before walking out into the hallway again.

This time, Jason was the only other person there. I glared at him as he nodded his head in a greeting sort of way.

"You want anything to eat?" Jason asked.

"No, Jason." I walked to the door with my laptop and my case strapped over my shoulder. "I'm going to work early this morning."

Jason frowned. "Then why did Annabeth leave earlier?"

I shrugged.

He smirked. "Maybe she was sick of you, Pers."

I opened the door. "Shut up, Grace."

As I left my apartment, I motioned for a taxi. Meanwhile, I couldn't resist thinking about Annabeth.  As I got in the cab, he drove me to work. I gave him a few bills and jogged in. I walked passed a few offices and desks before walking into my own.  As I sat down on my chair, I closed my eyes.

"Mr. Jackson?"

I opened my eyes and saw Mr. Kasaki, my boss, at the door. I sat up straight.

"Oh- I'm sorry, I was just thinking." I straightened my clutter of things at my desk.

"Well you'd better quit thinking Mr.Jackson, and start to work!" He shut the door.

I sighed and opened my laptop.
