Sherlock walked off down the street. John and Maggie followed close behind.
The three only had to walk for a few blocks before Baker Street came into their view. Sherlock and Maggie started running as fast as they could. A silent challenge as to who could run the fastest.
Their shoes slapped the pavement as they raced to their door. Sherlock smirked as he started passing Maggie. She urged herself to run faster and they were soon directly beside each other.
The door was close now, only ten feet away.
Maggie could hear John chasing after them about three feet behind.
Sherlock jumped in front of the door and stuck the key in the lock. Maggie nearly ran into him before skidding to a stop.
John soon came up behind her, huffing a bit.
Sherlock opened the door and stepped inside of 221b. John and Maggie followed him up the stairs and into their flat.
An older lady was in their front room and gave them all a startled look as they burst into the room, out of breath.
"Goodness you look like you ran a mile, boys." She smiled sweetly and noticed Maggie closing the door behind her.
"Who's this?" She asked.
"Maggie. And you are?" Maggie observed her curiously and looked her up and down.
John rolled his eyes at something and walked over to a laptop sitting on a desk by the window.
"I'm Mrs. Hudson." She said and stuck out her hand for Maggie to shake.
Maggie hesitantly shook her hand and smiled slightly. Mrs. Hudson nodded and smiled politely before turning back to John and Sherlock.
"Look at this mess, boys. If you're having guests over you should at least attempt to clean up after yourselves." She scolded them.
"Yes, Mrs. Hudson." Sherlock said not taking particular interest in the subject.
Mrs. Hudson sighed and headed out the door, closing it behind her. Maggie looked questioningly at John and he just shrugged and returned to typing on his laptop.
Maggie plopped onto the chair and looked around the room a bit. The wallpaper was brown and white. It made her dizzy just looking at the busy pattern. The only thing that caught her attention was a spray-painted smiley face on the wall with multiple gunshots in it. Obviously Sherlock's doing.
They sat there in silence for a bit.
Sherlock groaned. "Bored." Sherlock and Maggie said simultaneously and Sherlock gave her a strange look.
Maggie thought John was going to have a heart attack from the look on his face. He looked at Maggie then at Sherlock before shaking his head and typing on his computer again.
"John, what are you typing?" Maggie asked and Maggie's head tilted trying to look at the screen.
"I'm just writing on my blog." John dismissed it and continued typing at a rather fast pace.
"What blog?" Maggie asked curiously and picked up John's laptop despite his protests. Maggie saw Sherlock smile a bit before he covered it up.
She scrolled down the page and looked through his blogs.
"So you're pretty much Sherlock's stalker who typed everything he does onto a blog." She inferred and raised an eyebrow as she scrolled down the page.
"A Study in Pink, The Woman?" She read swiftly through the blogs.
The laptop lid was snapped shut and Sherlock's icy blue eyes pierced into Maggie's. "It's not important." Sherlock muttered and placed John's laptop back on the desk in front of John.
