(A/N) HEY EVERYONE! First of all I wanted to say thank you for reading and commenting and voting. I didn't expect to have many views on this but I kept writing it because I thought it was fun and judging by the comments and votes, you all liked it too. Thanks again!

Back to the book!

I sat on the couch while John sat at his laptop, no doubt typing on his ridiculous blog.

I don't see the point in letting the whole world know that I, Sherlock Holmes, can "See through anything and anyone in seconds". It annoys me.

The sound of his fingers hitting the keys were like gunshots in the silent room. They suddenly stopped and I looked up at the sudden disappearance of the noise.

"Sherlock." John said, his tone of voice made me immediately spring into action and move quickly to his side.

I looked at the screen of his computer and my mouth gaped at the photo.

It was Maggie laying unconscious on the ground.

A message underneath the photo said, "Aren't you going to help her? She's waiting for you. Find out where she is and you can have her. But I would hurry. Your girlfriend may not last much longer, no matter how strong she is. Good day, Mr. Holmes. Doctor Watson. -C"

I read the message five times but my eyes kept wandering to the photo. Maggie was laying on a wooden floor but a small puddle of blood covered the ground on the right side of her head., staining the color. The photo was focused on her so I couldn't see her surroundings at all.

I turned away from the screen abruptly and ran nervous hands through my hair. I shouted angrily and slammed my hand against the wall, making a loud bang echo through the flat.

I heard John muttering under his breath and his pacing footsteps behind me. He was nervous. And so was I.

"We need to find her." I stated.

"Of course we need to find her!" John exclaimed loudly. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath to calm himself. I watched him with surprise on my face as he continued. "She could be anywhere. We don't know where to start."

"We can start with New York." I stated.

"New York? You mean America?" John questioned.

"No, I mean Russia. Of course I mean America, John! Her plane was on route to New York." I said, spinning around to face him.

"We can't just go to America and search the country for her! It will take too long and I don't think she's being served tea and biscuits on a silver platter going by the picture." John said, spinning the laptop around so the picture was visible to me.

I cringed at the photo and looked away. I didn't want to think about Maggie being hurt by 'C'.

"You think I don't know that?" I glared at John. "You think that I don't care? Well, let me tell you something, John, you can take those words and shove them up your-" A knock at the door interrupted my sudden anger.

John sent me a glare and went over to open the door.

I turned to keep my back toward the door and looked out the window. I knew who it was and the surprise in John's voice confirmed that he hadn't been expecting her.

"Mary? What are you doing here?" John asked, shock coating his voice.

"Well, when you never called I got worried. So...here I am!" She laughed.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. Why would John want to marry her? Marriage is...complicated and unnecessary.

"Well, that's great. Uh, we just finished the case...in a way." John explained and let Mary into the flat.

"What does that mean?" Mary asked.

"It means, we have an image but no person or name to match it." I turned around. Mary looked at me with shock on her face, as if she hadn't noticed me standing there.

"So, you know who did it...but you don't?" Mary asked, glancing from me to John.

I didn't reply and moved over to John's laptop. I glanced at the picture before closing my eyes and slamming the laptop shut.

I opened my eyes to place the laptop on the desk by the window. Mary whispered something to John and he just nodded slowly.

I eyed them suspiciously and sat on the couch.

I looked up at the couple with an innocent look on my face. "Well, aren't you two going to talk or is it finally going to be peaceful here?"

"So, Mary, I haven't told Sherlock the news." John announced.

"What news?" I interrupted.

"Well, Mary and I are getting married." John said happily.

"Oh, yes, I know. When is it may I ask?" I replied.

"We planned around May." Mary replied.

"Ah, a Spring wedding." I nodded.

"So you're coming?" John asked.

"Weddings, not really my thing." I shook my head and jumped back up, looking for something to do.

"Well, it doesn't have to be your 'thing'. I want you to be there." John said.

I looked over at John and smiled slightly, "You really want me to be there?"

"Well, yeah, you're my best friend. Why wouldn't I want you to be there?" John chuckled lightly, his arm wrapped around Mary's waist.

I just looked at him for any signs that it was a joke. Nobody has asked me to a wedding before. When I saw no signs of joking in John's body language, I slowly nodded. "Fine. I'll go. But, remember, I did warn you. I'm not the best guest."

"Sherlock, I've been your flatmate for god knows how long. I think I can handle you at my wedding." John replied.

I nodded again and turned to my violin sitting upright on it's stand. I remember when Maggie had given it to me. It was close to when she left and we lost touch. It was the only real birthday present I ever got.

I picked it up and put it under my chin and on my left shoulder. I glided the bow across the strings, letting my thoughts take over my engine-like mind.

John and Mary left, for I heard the door close and footsteps on the stairs.

Once I was sure I was alone, I let a tear fall down my cheek. Soon they came one by one, slowly but surely. I played the violin and let my walls crack. Whoever 'C' was, they had broken me.

They succeeded in breaking Sherlock Holmes.

God knows what their next move will be.

(A/N) So, I decided that I hadn't been including Mary and the wedding as much as I should, so the next few chapters when I put it in Sherlock or John's POV, Mary will be there.

Oh and remember, if you haven't said what ship name Maggie and Sherlock should have (if they get together) go ahead and comment!

Thanks!
