BAKER STREET. 4:30PM

"And you waited this long to tell me about this?!" I shouted angrily at my brother, who sat comfortably in my chair.

"I had to be sure it was Magnussen. I couldn't just give you a name. You wouldn't exactly handle it well." He replied. He was unnerved. I could see it in the way he sat. His fingers were twitching with anticipation. His teacup was shaking ever so slightly in his grip. He sipped it and waited for me to respond.

"So this Charles Augustus Magnussen is who ordered Maggie to leave?" I clarified.

"Yes. I just told you that did I not?" Mycroft replied.

"I need to find him." I stated, pacing back and forth nervously.

"Sherlock, you haven't slept in days. You need sleep." John said, entering the main room from the kitchen.

"I don't need sleep. What I need is Charles at the end of a gun." I said angrily.

"And he will be the one pointing it at you if you go after him. Sherlock, Charles isn't an easy man to get to. His office has 14 security checks. Two of which are illegal in this country. You can't reach him." Mycroft said, sipping the tea I had given him.

"I can get him." I said. A plan was already forming in my mind. A satisfied smile grew on my lips. "John, we're leaving."

"Leaving? Where to?" John asked.

"We're meeting Charles." I said. "Oh but one thing I need to do."

I walked over to Mycroft, who was struggling to keep his eyes open. I caught his cup before it dropped to the floor. His eyes were closed and he was snoring softly.

"You drugged him?" John whispered harshly, watching as I grabbed the laptop Mycroft had sat on my coffee table.

"Well it's not like he was going to hand it to me." I waved the laptop in front of John, moving past him.

"Hey boys. What's the matter?" Mary came into the main room from the bathroom. She looked over at Mycroft. "What did you do?"

"Nothing. Here have some tea." I handed her a cup. John's eyes widened and I clapped a hand over his mouth before he could protest.

Mary finished the small cup and immediately looked drowsy.

"Oh Mary, you look a bit tired. You better lay down." I said, leading her to the couch quickly.

She nodded and collapsed on the couch, the drug taking full effect.

"You just drugged my fiancee!" John protested loudly.

"Do you want her safe." I asked.

"Of course but-"

"Then come with me." I interrupted.

"Where are we going?" John asked.

"I already told you. We're meeting Charles Augustus Magnussen." I said, turning and walking out of the flat with a smirk on my face.

John sighed before following me outside.

I tucked the laptop inside my coat and hailed a cab.

We were going to Mr Magnussen's industry. Appledore.

APPLEDORE, MAGNUSSEN'S INDUSTRY. 5:30 PM.

We entered the large white building followed by guards. I could see Charles up a flight of stairs and lounging on a white couch.

After being patted down, I didn't enjoy that at all, we were allowed into the open room.

It was more like a terrace. It was all open with only a few pieces of furniture.
