Chapter 14: Jaiden

Wake up, Wake up, Wake up, Sleeping Beauty. Open your eyes.

I opened my eyes to see i was in a hospital room. What happened?

"Thank god you're okay!" I heard a familiar voice say.

"J-Justin?" I stuttered a bit. "What are you doing here? Where's Keaton? What happened to me?"

"I think i should wait to tell you, But your fine now. That's all that matters."

I could tell something was wrong. Just then, Keaton walked in with tears in his eyes and a doctor next to him.

"Brianna. i'm glad to see that you're awake. How are you feeling?" The doctor asked me.

"I'm feeling okay, Just a little confused. Whats going on? Will i be okay?" I started to get scared when i saw Keaton with tears in his eyes. I glanced over at Keaton who was now sitting next to Justin.

"When you were on stage you passed out due to lack of oxygen. We believe you may have lung cancer." The Doctor said. I now knew why Keaton was crying.

"Lung cancer? But, how? is it serious?" i said with tears forming in my eyes.

"As you know cancer is very serious however, We believe you only have a very early stage of lung cancer so the life expectancy is much greater for you, you may have to undergo some surgeries. May i ask you if you had any chest pain during the day of the X-Factor finale?"

"Umm, yeah i did. But I just assumed it was stress." i explained.

"Okay, Thank you. I'm sure we'll have more questions for you later but, i'll give you some time to talk to your friends here." the doctor exited the room.

"I'm sorry, Brianna. I should have been there. Thank god for Justin." Keaton said holding my hands in his.

"What'd Justin do?" I said looking over in Justin's direction.

"I was watching from backstage and i saw that you looked dizzy and i ran on the stage to help you, then you fell into my arms." Justin explained.

"Thank you" i smiled at Justin Then looking back at Keaton. "It's not your fault i have lung cancer, is it? No. So there's no need for you to be sorry, Keaton."

"I know, but i should of been there." He started to cry a little. "What if the cancer gets worse? What if i lose you? I love you, Bri. I can't lose you."

"I'm not going anywhere, Keats. I love you more than anything. And the doctor even said that i just need some surgery." I kissed Keaton and smiled. I remembered thatJustin was still here. I again laid back down.

"So who won X-Factor?" I asked.

"They never announced because of you passing out. They said that when your better they'll have another episode and announce it then." Justin answered.

"Oh, So did they ever say when i could get out of here?" I asked.

"Tomorrow" Keaton said. "And i'll have a surprise for you." Keaton smiled.

A nurse walked in. "You guys have to go, Brianna needs her rest" she said to Keaton and Justin.

"Okay, one second" Keaton said to the nurse. He got up from his seat and Kissed me on the forehead.

"Get your sleep, Beautiful. I love you." He said Kissing me again.

"I love you too." I said watching him and Justin leave and drifted off to sleep

The next morning i woke up and got ready to go home.

Keaton took me back home, i missed being here after being gone from X-Factor but i insisted staying at Keaton's for a while. I went up stairs to Keaton's room and just laid down on the bed and closed my eyes. "Hey!" i heard a familiar voice say. "Drew! I missed you!" i jumped up to give him a hug.
