Intro

You ever heard of the quote "Art enables us to find ourselves & lose ourselves at the same time" by Thomas Merton? It's funny actually, how my life takes after that a lot.

Well now you're probably wondering who I am, let's start fresh. My name is Michael James Rutherford, I'm an art student at Port Barrow University. I had just recently moved from a small quiet place called Bridgetown over 2,732 km away from here, why you ask?

Well mainly because; one I wanted to get a degree in fine art, two Port Barrow was one of the best universities of the state, and three my sister goes there and told me how it was the perfect place for me to study since it was a 'quiet and relaxing place' funny thing was I believed it at first.

This might sound a tad cliché but this is my story, the story of a young college student, who back then was completely oblivious to how much of a ride I was in for.
