One Last Time

one last good bye

Hey guys this is Dannie's pov I'm doing a time skip to his last day
And then I'll do Percy I'm having trouble thing of stuff for there wedding so I'll time skip to after that.

Dannie
I wake up on the couch unable to move ." Gracie "I call out and she walks in the living room " what is it she asks ?". And then she realises.
" Gracie " I say " it's time call the others". I say weakly. She nods and walks out of the room. About fifteen minutes later I hear a mock on the door and it all my friends Gracie let's them in and the all surround me with tears in there eyes. "hey Dannie" I hear Percy say "hey man how to  been" I ask. " well not the best but still good" he says. " that's good, and you guys already know why you here I wanted to spend the day with the most important people in my life " I say to them all. And at that moment someone that I never expected to be there caught my attention. " Hailey it's been a while I didn't expect you to bee here. Come here, Percy you mind helping me sit up." I say " sure pall " he says. And sits me up as Hailey come and sets next to me. " so Hailey I'm curious how did you find out? " I ask. " well Gracie told me about it after you found out and she's been keeping me up to date on OT and I've been coming over while you were asleep " she said. " why when I'm asleep?  I ask and then start coughing like crazy. When I stop I noticed a little blood come drone my nose. " well after what happened all those years ago I thought you didn't want to see me. I left you messages and voice mail try to get a hold of you bit you never answered." she said. " what I say I thought the same of you after it happened so I just waited till you tried to convince tack me but you never did. I always wanted to see you,
I know what happened I got a new number." I say. We talk for a few hours with every one else and then the all go. But the only ones who stayed were Gracie Steely and Hailey.
I can feel my self getting weaker as I talk and they can tell.

Gracie pov
As me Steely and Hailey were talking to Dannie we noticed than his strength was fading and then Dannie says " Now be for I go I have a few things to give you three. " Dannie says. " Gracie can you go to my room and get my saxophone out of the closet and steely in the kitchen above
The stove there is a box can you go get it for me. We both go to get the thing requested and come back. When we come back Hailey is crying it to fannies chest. She stops when a he see us coming. We set the stuff down in front of him and he smile. " I just want you all to know that in the years that I have know you, you three have been the best friends I have ever had. You've mad me mad sad and happy and some time all those at the same time but now I have to say one last good bye. Gracie open my saxophone case please " he says.
She do see and pulls out a fingering chart. " what's this" she says with tears in her eyes. " it a note chart for you. Take care of it will you?" Dannie asks. I shake my head and give home a hug. And then he says to steely. " open the box". And she dose and she starts to cry along with Gracie when the see the photo it was the one he grabbed from Cordell's house of us dour out side front tire city. Never forget the good time but try to forget the bad ones he says to her and he starts to cry as he turns to Hailey.
" Hailey do you still need a car? " he asks her and she shakes her head yes. Then he pulls out a key from his pocket and says. " this is the key to my van I got it from my grandmother when she passed and now I'm giving it to you take care of it" he says

Readers pov
As Dannie said those last words he stand with the girls one last time and pulls them in to a hug. " good bye guys Gracie take good care of that saxophone and everyone else to" Dannie says and the same goes for you and steely to Hailey take care. Dannie says and then set back down.
And with that his latest bit of strength left him as he mumbled " Gracie I'll miss you and everyone else. I wonder if I'll be able to see Cordell again I hope so. " Dannie says before he passes " it.....been... Great never forget me and I'll always be by your side ".
And then he was gone and Gracie Steely and Hailey all sat there crying like they never had before. The only person other then steely Gracie had left had just died in her arms as she hugged him on last time. There are no words to describe how much pian she was in. So she and steely and Hailey sat there with him and cried for hours over there best friend. " atleast he went out with a smile on his face" grace said. And then noticed a not that said. " Gracie if you are reading this then I have just died. There is one more thing I want to give to you three. The house is now yours steely still and Haileys in joy. You best friend Dannie.

Well there the end of the book I hate to end it here bit of have tambourine of ideas for now of our get more I'll make another chapter. And there going to be a bonus chapter to and it a really short one.
