So I imagine Ariana to look like Lily Collins when she played Clary in The Mortal Instruments ( such good books and I loved the movie! ). Lily is so beautiful I love her, enjoy this. . . Absurd chapter.

Ariana had nothing to wear. After spending a full hour ripping her closet apart, she admitted defeat as she sat on the ground submerged in various garments. Sighing, she flicked a cream spaghetti top to the side and ran her hands through her hair. By this stage it had came loose from its tight ponytail and was weighing down at her sides. She glanced backwards to the clock and saw that it was nearing seven. Ariana didn't know why she was spending so long to find something suitable to wear, she had never cared before. Of course, she had been asked on dates prior to this false one yet on her real dates she hardly panicked on what to wear. But, for some reason, she wanted to look her best for Nate. Even if the date was in the Taco Barn- which was literally a barn which sold tacos.
If only Kenzie had reappeared, she would have helped her pick something to wear and even helped her with makeup. Usually, Ariana would just apply some mascara and perhaps lipgloss but tonight she wanted to look desirable. Clenching her jaw, Ariana got to her feet and kicked the clothes away from her. Her eyes caught sight of a black bomber jacket and she squeaked. Gingerly holding it in her hands, Ariana next searched for appropriate pants. A few seconds later she had finished designing her look by picking up a black skater skirt, black knee high socks, black heels and a maroon long-sleeved crop top which was only a few shades off her hair.
Ariana loved black heels and admired the length of her legs as she buckled them up. Eyes dabbed in mascara and lips rouged, she was finally happy with her appearance. Looking at her reflection in the mirror, Ariana felt pretty. Tugging at her hair she decided to wear it up, I mean who wants to eat Taco's with a side of red hair?
Ariana tucked her phone in the jacket pocket and zipped it halfway. She liked the top she wore underneath as it was high-necked and covered her small boobs. The doorbell rang at exactly seven and Ariana heard voices muffled downstairs. She heard Nate's voice and Jamie's. . .
Clumsily stalking out of her room Ariana hurried downstairs scared of what scene would be played before her, but was surprised when she saw Nate tapping the goldfish bowl in the hall. Jamie was nowhere in sight, much to Ariana's pleasure. Alan was out, too, and hadn't bothered to ask what the children's arrangements were. As long as they were back before midnight, they were safe. Nate's back was to Ariana, and his face was squashed up onto the glass. Ariana paused on the stairs and admired him, his silent silhouette calming. It was hard to imagine that he and Ryder were friends. Apart from their glowing irregular eyes, they were complete opposites. Nate carried a confident aurora, and Ryder seemed quieter. Both were laced in sarcasm and both possessed beautifully sculptured faces, but both boys had their own beauty.
"I'm disappointed in you, Ariana. I mean, goldfish are the pets for people with no imagination." Nate retorted before spinning on his heel to face her.
Ariana had reached the end of the stairs and stood clinging to the banister. Nate's eyes widened as he took in her appearance and Ariana blushed as she watched as his eyes travelled up and down her.
"Sorry. . . You look-" Nate stuttered his eyes lingering on Ariana's face. Her cheeks were flaming, she could feel them burn under his intense gaze.
"Can we go?" She snapped while bouncing in her heels. She tried incredulously to stop her knees from shaking, it had been a long time since someone extremely attractive had checked her out. Not that she wanted him to, she felt it demeaning and mentally scolded him, but a part of her felt like she had pulled her look off right. Now before you give out, claiming girls shouldn't feel the need to dress up to impress a boy, you are allowed if you want to. Ariana had wanted to look nice for Nate, she wanted him to be starstruck and flabbergasted. But she didn't realise she would be too, as his clean chiselled jaw was set as he came closer.
